Attributes and Implants Question

I'm new, well I've played it in the past but many years ago.

What I would like to understand and know is, I see I have attributes and I'm aware they can contribute to learning skills.

But what are the numbers when it comes to implants? Say I get an implant for every slot with +5 in every attribute, how much time would it reduce in learning skills.

Have I made that all clear as mud, as I don't really know what I'm talking about :-)

Thanks in advanced,
Sam.

The number of skillpoints you get per minute toward a skill is equal to your value of the skill's primary attribute plus half your value of the skill's secondary attribute (source). So if your base values of the skill's primary and secondary attributes are p and s respectively, then having +5 attribute implants for both will improve your training time by a factor of:

((p+5) + (s+5)/2) / (p + s/2)

...which can be slightly simplified to:

(2p + s + 15) / (2p + s)

With +5 implants, the best skill point rate you can get is 2700 skill points per hour.

Without implants, the best skill point rate you can get is 2250 skill points per hour.

2700 - 2250 = 450 less skill points per hour.

24 x 365 = 8,760 hours per year.

450 x 8,760 = 3,942,000 less skill points per year.

That's all assuming a best-case scenario, where you train at the best rate every single second of every single day without interruption.
