..not to say there's anything wrong with a woman with a strong jaw; just that these aren't often so much strong as exagerated protuberances. Depends on the subtype really.

Awesome!!!!!!
Okay i did that:

if you make your portrait right, no one even looks at the face.

Tone the eyeshadows down and change the eye texture.

The key is to have an open jacket with no shirt. If you can manage that then it doesn't matter what the rest of it looks like.

Lets just say that OP and I differ on what cute means, even the updated version looks like a train wreck to me :P

There's some good characters around, now and then you see really good character designs and while I have no clue on what the official "rules" are for getting it right they all seem to have the same characteristics:

- good lighting
-- no straight on angles
- no hard colours
- nothing is maxed out

Acac has some good tips, also you could google for one of the many avatar contests there have been and get inspiration from that.

Here's a tip, squint your eyes so the sculpt is blurry then mould the shapes until it looks "right". Tis' what you do in real sculpting/painting. Which race/bloodline is she ? I wanna play around and see if i can make a pretty girl :P

I lol'd.

OP, you'd be best off finding an irl artist friend to sit at your computer and sculpt the character in the UI.

there are ratios and rules to follow when sculpting a face, just like if you were drawing one.

I'm not going into tutorials here, I do enough of that as a mod on an art site...................

your char is looking like Vala Mal Doran, see ->

http://www.euderion.de/Materialien/Charactere%20SG1/Claudia%20Black%20-%20Vala/vala_1024.jpg

if you like to try somthing cute, try to copy Adria ->

or Andromeda ->
http://gatecast.co.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/LexaDoig.jpg

but the best way is, not to listen to others and creating your OWN char... whatever he might look like, its yours!

Here's Gal/Gal but I don't know...I always liked intaki girls a lot more. Ex. Gal/Intaki

or Gal/Gal but with a space pixie look

IMO, short hair models look better tbh but thats like...my opinion.

I can't help thinking that if I was to troll with something easily changed, free, and original...

asking for help with character sculpting and making it look invariably hideous would be a good way.

Here's an idea.

Spam the random button until you have the face you want. Then tweak the body, then tweak the clothes.

That's what I did for most of my characters and I'm fine with it.

You probably should take off the make up and edit. That is what I do.

Small nose. Small mouth. Big eyes. Round face, not angular. [NOT Gollum-style] That's the hallmark of a baby's face, which we are genetically programmed to think as being cute. Symmetrical faces are also more attractive than asymmetrical faces.

Makeup shouldn't be one colour, and should be sparingly applied [NOT Tammy Faye-style]. Accentuate facial features (especially eyes and lips), or soften / hide them, using makeup.

Look to others for examples (these are not mine):
https://image.eveonline.com/Character/1100933456_512.jpg Death Cell
https://image.eveonline.com/Character/90342909_512.jpg Toxaris Cabrito

Play with poses and lighting too. Often that can help accentuate or hide features.
