One more thing. uman hair, even in old people, don't just have only one color. In dark haired people, you can find different hues and shades. SO I really recommend going two toned in the hairs.

Wow, I never noticed that but your right! Big smile

Okay so i added another color to the hair. Blue is a pretty cool color don't you think? SmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

Why did you have to post that? Ugh

Actually, the OP looks a bit like Cher, but only a bit, and it's not that bad. People tend to exaggerate here.

Just give the neck a little more thickness or tone down on the lips. Either will improve it, but not both. Add some body to the face with a cheek pull, and maybe lower the cheekbones a little if you decide to go with the thicker neck rather than the thinner lips. Draw left/right on the top and bottom lips to change their pout. It's a bit much as it is, and you can pull down on the top or up on the bottom to reduce their shape a bit, or from side perspective, push them in or out individually.

Just mould and sculpt.

edit: also pull the brow down above the nose a little to lose the puppy look, and maybe push the sides of the brow out to increase depth. The bottom lip is too big and out of proportion to the top, the nose is fine but I notice it has an arch to it, and it could use a little meat on the end. Far to pointy and incongruous as it is.

Hope that helps. Smile

Big smileBig smileBig smileBig smileBig smile thanks for the tips!!

Cuter. Now you just need to widen the chin a bit, bring that brow down in the middle or lift it outside, grab and pull the nostrils out just a bit and maybe add a little thickness to the neck, but not much. Smile

..on second thought, leave the brows alone, they're probably fine now. Blink

'Cute' is going to be difficult to agree on, since everyone has a different set of features they prefer. I do a lot of professional character art and have some suggestions... but please feel free to ignore them all :)

- Firstly, she looks distinctly worried. You need to made sure the inside points on the eyebrows aren't the highest point. Bring down and seperate the inner portions of the eyebrow.

- Second, move the eyebrwos apart a little. You can actually see the worry-wrinkles in her brow - that's not very appealing (imo).

- Next, her nasal bridge is too strong - a characteristic that usually comes with age. If you soften the bridge some, she'll look younger and stereotypically 'cuter'.

- The tip of her nose seems a bit low, another characteristic that appears with age. If you raise the tip up a little, she'll look younger.

- Have her engage the viewer by looking at us, as opposed to looking at some off-camera interest. It's more interesting and engaging if she's looking at us, as if the viewer is the most interesting subject at the moment. It's all about subtle.

- Her teeth are not attractive. I'd recommend closing her mouth a bit more.

- If possible, I'd recommend getting rid of the lines between her cheeks and mouth. They imply more worry/age.

Just a few ideas. Good luck! :)

Narrowing the jaw and cheekbones will compensate for the narrowness of the neck. Also, whatever you did to her eyes took away all the cute. Might want to back track the history a bit. Lol

Chins too wide now too. SmileLol

That's a whole lot better than the original, you've got a pretty good all knowing smirk going on there to.

I could help!

First step, you need to make softer features. women don't have much testosterone. So, we have smaller and finer features. Secondly, I know how guys are about boobs and butts, but try to be realistic about body proportions (don't go FFF but go for some lift and separate).

Secondly, know that your complexion should determine your make up color. If she's going to be fair skin uses a lighter touch than a darker skinned character. Also, our eye color determines a lot about the eye shadow, which in turn determines blush. If it's hazel, brown, or green, go with an earth color. If her eyes are blue, go with pinks and blues.

Also pick good hair colors. See how mine has contrasting high lights with the natural character? Try going as natural as possible (i.e. avoid pink and blue hairs).

Finally, the portrait. Pick a color scheme. I've gone very black and white. Ask a photographer how to make a good picture. I took a class and understood aspects of lighting and positioning. So, I had a little advantage.

Shoot I didnt see this until now! I'll read it and try to apply your tips! Thanks! LolLolLol

Wowzers... that's bad. Straight ..should have stuck with the original, but follow the advice of that lady up there. It's starting t look more it than she atm; very masculine lines as it is now, while still appearing to be a female..maybe.

At this point, I'd probably start over. ..yes, I've mucked up a face very nearly that badly before. Best to just go up to that little refresh-like button up at the top and click it once or twice. No one will blame you. Lol

Agreed - the lastest version is headed in the right direction. Open her eyes up a little so she doesn't look sleepy, and I think you're getting close. Though she's not 'cute' in my mind (mouth is too broad and nose too strong for my tastes), she's looking very real now.

Narrow that chin down a bit and you've got it I think For all the work you've put in on this, I'd say you deserve to finish up and call it good. Cool

..not to say there's anything wrong with a woman with a strong jaw; just that these aren't often so much strong as exagerated protuberances. Depends on the subtype really.
