Hello,

I have been looking in the implants section of the market and have noticed that there are implants for most major things in eve, Why not implement Jump drive calibration implants and Jump fuel conservation implants for those Jump capable pilots out there.

+1 if you agree

+1 from me,it doesn't have to be a huge boost,but even 3% extra range would really help

I'm not sure what I think on this one... on the one hand its already waaay too easy for big blobs of caps to move around. On the other hand, its only 1-5% or whatever small amount they decide to put in, so probably not a huge amount.

I could certainly support implants to use less cap/fuel for jumps, but I'm not sure on the range ones.

I think there are two ways to improve upon Jump capabilities of of jump capable ships:

JF = Jump Freighters
JDC = Jump Drive Calibration
JFC = Jump Fuel conservation

  • Simple: Jump drive calibration and jump fuel conservation implants that closely resemble the skill that they enhance as is for most implants in use. (general navigation implants)
  • Implants that affect a specific ship type ( fill in the gaps that ships have )

That being said Here are suggestions on how the implants can look like:

JDC and JFC specific

  1. JDC = 601 - 610 ( a total of 6 implants going from 1 percent to 5 and then a 10% officer drop)
  2. ---> The biggest jump distance increase would be in carrier for a total of .65LY extra. and thats with the 10% implant that if implemented correctly would cost a billion isk plus and not a good investment for a PVP pilot.
    ---> Jump freighters and dreads would see a max increase in .5LY with the 10% implant and again PVP pilots would not like to have a 1bill pod just for extended jump range.
  3. JFC = 705 - 715 (a total of 6 implants going from 5% to 10% fuel conservation and a 15% officer drop )

Or ship specific

  1. Carrier and dread specific implants: Diminishes capacitor use for jumps helps be more battle ready.
  2. JF: increased JDC or increased JFC

Boosters:
JFC booster with side effect against JDC
JDC booster with side effects against

Other Ideas:

Ship specific Jump drive manipulation skill:

  1. Carrier and dread jump drive manipulation: 10% decrease in capacitor use per level
  2. Jump freighter Jump drive manipulation: 10 increase in jump drive distance.

    • Prerequisites for Jump Freighter Jump Drive Manipulation
    • Prerequisites: JDC 5, JFC5, Freighters 5, JF5,
    • This is so only very dedicated JF pilots can achieve this skill and training multiplier x16 just as the titan skill.

I like this idea. +1
