Skills missing after 3.5 years of inactivity

Hello everyone,

I've started playing EVE in 2009, but played only one month. One of the last thing I did was losing my Raven when I flew into a static complex. Sad

Now I re-activated my (only) account yesterday and saw that there are some skills missing: For flying a Raven I need Caldari Battleship II, but I don't have Caldari Battleship, I don't have the prerequisite Caldari Cruiser IV, I don't have the prerequisite Caldari Frigate IV, I only have Caldari Frigate at level zero.

My medical clone is good for 4.8M skill points, I have only 2.3M (plus some for the learning skills that were there in 2009, apparently 422K according to my unallocated skill points). Even if it were not, I think losing skill points due to a pod kill (and I don't remember that ever happened to me) should not drop frigates to level zero when there are still other lvl 5 skills...

I filed a petition, but the GM said that they can't confirm that I ever had these skills.


Now my questions are:
What else could cause a loss of these skills?
Can anybody remember a change in the skill system in the last 3 years plus 7 months that could somehow be related to that issue?
How could I prove to the GM that I had these skills? Kill reports go only back 6 months...
I wrote a "mad posting" to the forums when I lost that ship (it was due to a technical issue with the game client), but the forums seem to have changed. Are the old forums saved somewhere?

Character Sheet > Combat Log > Show Losses.

One of my characters (the one i checked) shows losses back 1814 days 7 hours 3 minutes 2 seconds.
NPC as well as player loss.
Shuttles
Rookie ships
etc.

Did someone else have access to your account?
Was it a different toon on that account?

If you only played for 1 month, and you have 2.3 million sp, I don't think you have lost anything. The maths...

Interesting, I thought that because the API returns only losses up to 6 months ago, there should be no way to see more in the client.
There is indeed no loss of a Raven.

To be more specific, it was of course 1 month of subscription plus 14 days of trial. I did one neural remapping and there were the learning skills in 2009, so it is a bit hard to see if any SP are missing.


However, I found my old post. There I don't mention the type of ship, but the date matches a loss of a Hurricane in the combat log...


Am I really hallucinating here? Oops Looks like I am getting old. I was absolutely sure about that, I would have sworn by anything...

OP:

Just to clarify when you open your character panel and select "Skills" you don't see any "SP" in Green at the top of your Skill Tree do you? Unallocated SP?

You should've been reimbursed SP at some point.

Yes, as I wrote, there are ~420K SP unallocated. The learning skills.

I'm not sure what to do with them. Obviously it is best to put them into skills I want now but which are not easy to train due to my current neural mapping. Currently I tend to save them until there is a definitive statement from CCP how the BC/Destroyer thing will be done, in order to get a little bit extra SP out of it.
