What got me started
It's a space MMO. (and that butterfly effect trailer)

What made me kept playing this game.
It's a sandbox and you really feel the consequences of your actions and your stupidity (this is the first and probably going to be my last MMO that offers a real consequences when you lose something/dying), other MMOs are a joke compared to Eve in this specific area. The "harsh" world of Eve offers things that no other MMO I've played does.

I got tired of the shallow and empty feelings all the ex's were giving me. Then EVE came along and stole my love thrown away. Since then,it's been a beauty that never fades.

Because I had to see if it had improved since Beta.

Turns out waiting 3 years did the trick Lol

Why? 'Cause Elite/Oolite weren't enough. Not enough challenge, not enough variety, and not a single opportunity to troll to be found anywhere...

EVE is EVE - Feaces will eventuate.

I was promised big booty white girls...

2 months...and I have yet to see ANY big booty white chicks playing this game...

...do they magically appear at Fanfest??? I don't know if Icelandic women are known for junk in tha trunk.

I don't like being lied to...

I like'em Blonde or Ginger, slim waist, under 5'5 and loaded in the rear.

I better see some or I'm reporting CCP.

Couple years around for the same reason but still haven't saw any decent one !!!

Hopefully I know some in RL, so much better and "fun" Cool

Honestly, "in my opinion" not really anything else. everyone wants to be safe in games now a days,
hiding in safe zones, initiating duels for "PVP" etc.. i mean there are games out there that offer open pvp
its just that they are generally pretty terrible. EVE Online offers a wide array of in game possibilities and you
"don't have to" grind levels or search for dusty wine bottles and return to some d-bag for a minimal
amount of exp points.

Spelling and or punctuation is probably terrible but meh.

That one time in EvE, I had to find some doll a few time in a row to bring it back to some girl in a station. It looked damn well like collecting bear asses for some guy in a village.

That other time, I had to go kill a bunch of ships before reporting to another guy in a station. It kind of reminded me of having to kill some boars before reporting to a guard in a town.

It was raelly not like another MMO I had played before. Nah.

i started eve because, it is one of those games, where you cant just simply jump in the best ship and expect to be good at it. most noobs who buy titan pilots then loose a titan generally complain for hours on end :0

The problem of hi sec is not the level of safety - that is ideal at the moment. You can gank people and war dec but it costs money and is balanced and fair penalties are applied. The problem is that there is too much profitability in hi sec.

Level 4 missions, Incursions above Vanguard size, and endless industrial slots (don't lie to me about how hard it is to find them - I used to do it just go a few jumps away from a trade hub and there's always tons free) are too much income for an area of space that is as safe as hi sec is.

Hi sec also teaches players to depend on game mechanics and NPCs for protection instead of friends and stuff. Many of the hi seccers I've talked to during recruitment just can't understand why they get shot on sight in nullsec when they enter some alliance's space, since they're "just a player and harmless".

Hi sec is good at churning out people who are afraid of the rest of the game.

This is nothing more than another hi-sec whine....
