Didn't do the math, I looked at a clock >_>

This might be good advice.

Gee, I agree with a Goon. Oh god, up is down, black is white, dogs and cats living together, aaaah!

Why does it require nerfing?
Highsec may now be the most dangerous sec, huge bounties placed on carebears seems to create entertaining results.
Of course this may be exactly what CCP had in mind....After allowing an endless isk faucet to go unchecked in null for years, there is plenty of extra isk for griefing. Lol

More Miners and Industrialists WOULD move to low and null sec, BUT Because of ppl continusly keeps attacking Mining Ships etc, most Wount leave High sec, i have personaly lost WAY to much to take the risk of Idiot Gate Campers etc that Blow up mining ships etc thats only on Movement or at mining fields..

Make it safer for Miners and industrialists, And more of us WILL Move

+1 for nerfing highsec research/manufacturing/copy slots and/or increasing the fees significantly

-1 for the refining idea. This would do nothing but increase prices on low ends further (and disproportionately).

EDIT: To be clear, I view slot reductions as a change intended to rebalance risk/reward and make nullsec/lowsec industry more viable comparatively. Fee increases are something that should happen regardless to combat/account for inflation and to make highsec POSes more worthwhile.

I remember seeing somewhere an industrialist say that he sells ships at a loss and makes a profit out of the modules.
Yup, that's really smart!

I won't intrude in the umpteenth cry nerf thread but this sentence sort of hit me as expecially misplaced.

Go and read about what a loss leader is. Large companies (like Sony and Amazon) and many supermarkets do it. Apparently that's really smart!

No, there needs to be trade between high and null sec.

Good luck getting it past the gate camps. Oh wait, that's what all their alts are for, aren't they? They just blue their own hisec alts so that they can actually move stuff across the gatecamps. Now it makes sense.

So they can handle the risk, then we better nerf them. Put back the slots into highsec.

Oh, we're all done.

i concur that this argument is ridiculous.
saw some one in the npc corp today that didn't even realise the bounty system etc had changed.

nerf high sec and 50% of the player base won't even know or realise, let alone cancel their subscription over it.

Half is of course exaggerated but whatever the amount of loss in real players/accounts would be I don't think is good for anyone.

Nerf high sec mission payouts didn't fixed low/null

Nerf high sec missions loot didn't fixed mining or low/null

[insert another of the numerous nerfs of high sec] didn't fixed low/null.

And imho no matter how bad the idea is, and you know there is a huge number around about nerf high sec, will ever fix low or null.

But keeps this kind of thread popping dozens of times per year, yeah, awesome emergent game play Lol

Because the underlying problems weren't fixed. Did anyone unsubscribe over this?

so history teaches us that underlying problems were not fixed

guess what you can expect with another nerf?
