EVE New Citizens Q&A

I blame my wife, she just knows me so well.. 2008 she was watching television documentary about virtual worlds...One of those was EvEOnline... So she gives me hint i should try this game, since she thinks i might like it... I have been playing this game ever since. Thats now more then 4 years ago.... This chararcter has not missed more then couple days of training since.

Somehow it appeals to me to be able to choose my own goals, instead chooseing goals some developer has tought up. Sadly,lotro, wow, etc...scripted games feels so boring and easy after eve, i have pretty much given up on those.

I would be bolb enough to say that EveOnline is Masters league of mmo´s. Here has most ruthless and most driven players of any mmo in cyber space. Heck even CCP got nasty reminder of that when they messed up aurum stuff announcement with few firery spices added to mix... This galaxy is full of wolfs, some just pretend to be lambs.

Here your creativity is given freedom to bloom,take you in places no other mmo can offer. From halls of power to greatest secrets that can be downfall of large alliances. Or you are allowed even pretend tobe tiny and insignificant, even when theres nothingpreventing youto become one of those whose commands move hundred´s of pilots. One of those that have power and skill to burn jita, something any real world military expert would be envy.

Yes, eve is very much marketed by content players come up. 300k+ players is vastly superior comeing up interesting content then developers ever will.

And just for records, i have lived in highsec, still am there regularly.I have lived in lowsec for a while. And im regular in 0.0 where alliance im part holds system. I have enjoyed my time in all three spaces. What i dont understand is hate highsec gets from 0.0 players. Yes 0.0 is wasteland of empty systems, but 0.0 alliances/corporations can only blame themselfs for that. They allready have all the keys to change it, they dont need ccp to nerf highsec for them.All they need to do is actuallyt change how they play 0.0.Insted of playing newer ending feodal warlord japan era with samurais, they should play it in way its actually attractive for people in highsec to move over... But then again everyone in eve always complain when theyr preferred play style is in danger.

Sad is day when small but loud minority gets to dictate how wastly larger majoority should live. Eve just gets to be like real world little bit more every day.

Oh I see, you solicited the poll out to several different forums, in-game/out-of-game etc. I resubmitted my survey response with where I heard about it. Might've doubleposted.
