Ascension was originally created by a few friends that played a couple other MMO's together. Since the creation we drifted away, from the corp to each go our own ways. This was mostly due to most of us being so new to Eve that we didn't have much direction.

We have now learned a thing or two and are back! We hope to be able to share many of the lessons we have learned over the years with newer players, bring in some fellow veterans that have been around for a bit, and ultimately have some grand old times. We are not interested in the ehonor, peen, or other e-adjectives that describe many of the uptight corps in existence today.

Our plan is simple, offer a fun, relaxed place for people to play. We do not mistake elitism for being elite, and we hope to foster a higher level of play within our members, without being snobby or high strung about it, eve is just a terrible game after all.

Now, onto the nuts and bolts, or rust and duct ape for you Matari pilots out there.

Money making
- The ever driving force of Eve, money will be made through organized Incursion fleets once we have enough people to form our own. In the interim there exists a couple public channels for incursions which we will be using and encourage our members to use as well.

- Lvl 4 mission running, self explanatory.

- Exploration, a couple of our members are solid explorers, and we are always looking for more. Exploring involves scanning and good scanning skills are a valuable pvp asset.

Fun
- PVP. This can be gate camping, roaming, stealth bombing, pirating, or any other form of consensual or non-consensual combat our pilots feel like engaging in. Put simply, we are NBSI, and since we have no blue list (yet anyway) we live in a target rich environment.

Shinigami hit on some other activities and will be handling the organization of these in time. For right now we are focussed on growth.

What we are looking for:

- Players with both the ability and drive to learn, ask questions, help where and when they can, and overall have fun doing it
- A laid back attitude. Don't cry when you loose your ship, don't get butt hurt over something silly
- Must not be afraid to loose ships, but must be able to learn from your mistakes when doing so.
- Ability to use in game audio at least. We have a Ventrillo server that is paid for by one of our members as well.
- No trial accounts.

As a side note, we are also interested in finding a possible low-sec alliance who shares similar views and goals as ours. Contact myself of Shinigami in game or through Eve-Mail if you think we might be a good fit.

Excellent question. Depending on how much interest we get I may run a rolling lottery. Either 5,000,000 or
10,000,000 isk per ticket and the drawing will take place whenever 10 tickets are sold. With enough interest we could hold more than 1 lottery in a day. For those looking to make more isK there are also some long term investment opportunities we have been kicking around as well

As per the Recruitment Center Rules and Thread Bumping Guidelines:

"A thread may be bumped once per day by the thread starter. Any more gives that player a competitive advantage over others and cannot be allowed."
