I know some comments I can expect so I say it myself.

You shoudl never rat/clean anomalies in a carrier.

So I am doing this Forlorn Rally point expecting small ships and cruisers. I en up getting 2 spawns of battleships which are kinda too hard for my Zealot to take. I think: "What the hell, scout in neighbouring system, why not try out the carrier."

I warp to site, align back out, drop fighters and pop goes one of them.....ok stupid could have known. I think: "New pacth made ships pick size on drones, I'll launch a flight of small drones as there is only Cruisers and up.
Drones aggroed and popped as well (again, just one). Pulled them in and waited for ship to aggro me. All the time I am in the site, not a single ship targets me.

Is this correct? Rats waiting for me to launch drones again?

I'm using sentries and an alt in a maelstrom. As soon as I through a few reps out the carrier will eventually get aggro. You'll still lose 1-2 drones per hour but can largely keep the aggro on the carrier via reps.

If you don't have a carrier or cannot use sentries, well, maybe petition CCP to double drone bay sizes until they fix this mess. I live in null so docking and repairing drones takes cynos and too much time. So I've just started letting th em die. I sure wush we coukd see which were damaged in the drone bay so we could dump them in the corp hangar.

stick a tp on carrier, get agro, ???, profit, realized AI will shoot drones anyway now, ???, cry in a corner?

CCp really done a messy job with the drone ai. Yesterday exploration plexing a 7/10 , 2nd room you get a stasis tower plus full room agro with 8 elite frigs. Trying to get out of there made me lose about 10 drones until i can actually manage the dps . The difference from before aint the dps on pocket but is that the momment you put on space any drone it will get agro. Light drones are getting 1 shotted if you are not lucky enough and have the npc target the same drone at once

As for the carrier and rattlesnake , you will either have to use a target painter that will make you get targeted and not the drones (ofc from times drones will get agro ) or use sentries for easier scoup and deploy.

As for the people that will start trolling here , dont mind em. They are stupid enough to realise that this is not working as intended (familiar phrase ? ) and they will encouter the drone ai (Like incursion gate rats that will scram and web on gate at once ? Lets see their drones then if they dont have the support . )
