The corp-to-corp standings have to be set to blue, even if you're the only person in your corp and you set your personal standing to the other guys blue it may still shoot at them because the POS checks against what your corp's standings are before deciding to shoot or not, not your personal standings.

Also, people not in your corp/alliance have to type in the password (a pilot can set this by right-clicking their capacitor circle thing or by right-clicking the ship in space and selecting 'Set Starbase Password' or something to that effect) before warping to the POS. The password will continue to work until they've either left system, docked, logged out or changed their ship's password to something else. They'll have to reset the password every time they undock or jump back into system.

Also, they have to enter the password before they initiate warp. Trying to enter the password mid-warp they'll end up outside the edge of the pos shields (but be able to move into the shields uncontested once they've come out of warp)
