The 100b bond - 2%, secured by Chribba with 120% collateral - Filled and completed

Hi,

First off - I'm looking for a show of "support" and possible investors.

Below is my idea for the bond.
If you have suggestions, please post.

Hi,

On behalf of an anonymous party I will be looking for funding for a 100b bond. Given the stability and the optional duration of the bond, it will payout 2% interest. Chribba has already said yes to hold the collateral, which is value at around 120b, with an option for more collateral later, if need be. Meaning that this will likely be one of the more safe bonds in EVE :)

I will provide a API of my wallet, as prove of any and all transactions.
Chribba will post in this thread to prove his involvement - and later as prof of receiving the collateral.


The fine print :

Amounts need to be in full billions.
Interest will be 20m per billion per full month
(For easier accounting)

In the event of a default, or lack of collateral, investors will be refunded their capital investment and accrued interest to that point it's possible. Any ISK after the liquidation will be taken be Chribba as extra payment. investors will get priority by time of investment, if need be

The total bond size will be 100b isk.
No fixed duration.
Cash out requests requires one week notice, and will be cashed out as funds are available.
If cash out amount is more than 20b, there will be a 20 notice instead.
Periodically the bond will be lowered as the client buys back bonds from investors.

Final day for investments
27/12/2012 (For now)

First interest payment
27/01/2013

2nd interest payment
01/03/2013

Final interest payment
01/04/2013

I confirm the OP and I have discussed the bond and I've agreed to assist, however I am currently _NOT_ holding any collateral.

update/I am currently holding 220x PLEX as collateral for the 100B being raised for this bond.

Once I hold the collateral I will update this post.

You know what I'm puzzled about is the use of PLEX as collateral for the bond, supposedly on behalf of someone else.

The whole thing seems odd, but whatever.

It's almost like they believe PLEX will forever keep high value.
PLEX is one of the low quality kind of collateral, good to see Chribba kept the option to ask for collateral re-consolidation.

unless CCP found a way to magically remove the inflation in the game, im affraid plex will rather go up than down in the future...
I mean from the 90 day GTC(/3=~80 mil) to a 30 plex(580 mil) it was a steady price increase, I dont see why they should ever become a lot cheaper.

CCP can do whatever they can, your reply is apparently perfect but just apparently.

Let's dig inside the PLEX market, that is the one market CCP openly admits to manipulate. They have to admit it, since the constant campaigns to "regulate" PLEX prices are quite visible.

So far CCP has only shown high price control manipulation, so the whole hope about PLEX prices not dropping is based on the hope that inflation will stay as is and not drop after the hot subs Christmas days or in the summer afterwards. "No fixed duration" being a keyword to notice when a perishable collateral is used.

Edit: and that's why wise Chribba wanted the option to ask for more collateral in case depreciation happens. It's somewhat analogous to RL trading, if the capital in your account drops too much due to outstanding losses then the broker "margin calls" you.
