Need suggestions for a good amarr/caldari pvp setup

I would like a ship that gives out very good damage, more pvp then pve for sure... and is either caldari or amarr.

I have both amarr and caldari crusier 5, and 18 mill skill points. Have about 3 mill points in gunnery (trained some laser stuff) and 2.2 mill in missile launchers.

If anyone has any suggestions or needs more info, let me know. Thank you!

It really depends what scale of PvP you are doing. Smaller Scale you need more things like more Tackle, Neuts or EWAR while bigger fights range and Dmg are key. Smaller fights your ship has to mean more and do more, bigger fights it can focus only on a couple of things to support the fleet as a whole, through Dmg, through Logi, through EWAR, whatever your role is.

Say a TD Arbitrator, drop this in the middle of a fight and unless they are all using Missiles they will notice. Can cut Gun Optimal / Falloff Range or Tracking depending on the script by 65%. Has bonused Drones as a Frigate Killer and still bring DPS with Hammerheads. It has a good tank but it is a little slow.

You have your Maller which is better in a Gang because of Cap Problems. The Omen is solid all around with good speed, Dmg, range and a full Drone Bay. Caracal with HAM's is good range DPS support and with Rapid Launchers a Frigate Killer. Blackbirds you just load up a Rainbow of ECM and Jam whatever you can.

Then you have your Logistics. Caldari and Amarr Logistics can be used solo but it is better to chain an Energy Transfer with another Logistic Ship so you don't need Capacitor Modules. The Gallente / Minmatar ones are better suited to being on their own.

Whatever you fly is going to get blown up. Don't buy "a pvp ship".

I think what Oswald is saying is "don't buy ONE pvp ship - make sure you fly something you can afford to lose over and over again".

Take a close look at the Caracal.
Overload and 500+ dps.

I'd personally check out the Bellicose instead.
