Lol GSFs financial cabal seems to do pretty well for themselves, although judging from some of the financial shenigans and propoganda you guys manage, I'm fairly convinced that you have a lot of real life bankers and spin doctors/advertising type folks in GSF.

I feel the same way when the media is reporting "machine guns" and "assault weapons". Why does some latte-slurping pastel-wearing Prius-driving metrosexual urbanite get to dictate to us about guns?

See how that works.

Though LaPierre does indeed not know what he's talking about.

The whole thing is dumb. Let's see "ban all teh gunz" on the left. "Ban all the video games" on the right.... "take away the guns" on the left, put a roid-head cop who probably spent too much time in the sandbox in every corridor on the right.

Yeah this is like watching a shark choke on a crocodile. The ban-all-teh-gunz move is statist at the core. Putting cops on every corner is statist at the core.

Meanwhile my fellow arch-libertarians and anarcho capitalists are having a laugh and wondering how a government that ignores our liberties - written on paper - expects to protect people by writing more laws on paper.

I think our Ritalin-head EvE player who turns mass shooter might resort to trying to bump a garbage truck with a hatchback.

That would just make them place a ban on hatchbacks.

Sadly, it's getting to the point where that comment is actually a serious one. What?

I am really surprised that you guys in America have put up with as much as you have, it's not like here in the UK where we don't have a Bill of Rights as such, the last Bill of Rights we ever had was the Magna Carta. I would have expected the American people to have ripped their government a new one over the infringements of their rights as laid down by the constitution, the government have no power to make amendments to it without the consent of the people.

They need a consensus (haha I used a big word!) with 2/3 of the states to add an amendment, then there's something else they have to do and get even more agreement with the House I believe.

That guy murdered his grandmother in 1981 with a hammer, got out in 1997, was under supervision until 2006. Convicted felons are banned from possession and purchase of firearms, and all weapons purchases must pass a background check.

Now, why was this murderer running free? Anybody?

I can see why the effete Europeans can boast about low crime, but in America, there is an active plan to take the country down. Notice the de-industrialization going on here? Notice that bureaucracy that makes it hard to do business? Notice that it's next to impossible to get the municipalities to stop putting sodium flouride in the water (proven to cause illness and stupidity)? Notice that this is the country that had the best health care, that got too expensive, yet it's the only country that cannot ban GMO, aspertame, and High Fructose (other countries have)? Notice how the last countries in the world that are not under bankster control have NATO-funded insurgencies staffed by radicals?

So of course murderers and chesters are going to be living next door. The same crowd behind everything I listed wants people to live in fear. People who live in fear are very easy to control. Just ask the National Socialists of Germany (if you can find any - refer to the history books).

I have lived in places like New York where anybody can walk out their door, see somebody else on the sidewalk, and decide to mug that person with a near 100 percent chance that their intended victim is not armed and otherwise unskilled in martial arts. (this is why I was in a underground dojo that did it fight club style because we could not have guns but boy did we kick the ass) . In New York, people will pay nearly 10K a year in property taxes just to live in a town where the cops pounce on anybody who does not look like anybody else (or as you will hear out in places like Sayville and Rochester "we moved out here to get away from the n**gers" - yeah you will find more racists in the Northeast than anywhere else in the USA)

I have lived in places like Florida where you can keep a loaded gun in your car without a permit provided it has three layers of retention and in towns where you have people of all colors and backgrounds living side by side and nobody messed with anybody.

But just look at how statist New York is, with everybody living in fear behind their triple-locked doors. Look at how racist New York is.

Yet in Florida, guns everywhere, the people who were nicest to me were the rednecks. An Italian-American catholic from New York, treated well by these people who were armed their entire lives and feared NOTHING.

The goal is for America to become a land of "hot robberies" like Australia after their disarmament, where anybody can ron and raep anybody else with impunity while the media reports it all. We see from the results of 911 how dangerous a scared American is to the rest of the world, and the next target is America itself.

I will now go and play COD2 and say Merry Christmas to them as I kill them.

Side notes.

While we love to rib the British there is much forgotten about English Common Law and how hard they fought for it. Domestication of the population is why you lose it. But yeah, we rag in Britain and forget where such liberal ideals of liberty come from, quite often.

The Bill of Rights has an interesting history. Basically, the Constitution would not be ratified without it. The efforts of George Mason and Thomas Jefferson (Mason spearheaded the effort) and the backing of the Virginia delegation set up a situation that spelled out "No BoR, no Constitution". Of course if you read Alberty Jay Nock, the there's more "con" in the Constitution than one could expect, since it opened the door for a system that land speculators can work from. This is why pesky sorts like myself will tell you that the Articles of Confederation were better and the beginning of the end of the United States actually started with the Whiskey Rebellion.

Here's an idea: our zonked out SSRI-Head EvE player might resort to equipping his car with those automated painball turrets, but with real guns on the turrets. I wonder if the speed of the turrets and the ability for them to track targets would be factors? There is much to this game regarding technology that tells me that CCP did their homework.

Just because I'm a scamming, backstabbing, evil, stealing and murderous bastard Piratein the game of EVE it doesn't mean I'm going to.. I had a really cheap eve related joke that was really insensitive so I'll refrain myself.

Still every news article that links video games and violence is full of ****.
