Some NPC Corps don't have agents carrying all mission levels?

Hi.

What happens if an NPC Corporation has mining agents that can only offer missions at levels 1, 2 & 4 ?

Does it mean that after I'm done with level 2 missions, I'll have to grind a lot more just to get to level 4 missions?

Yes, if a corp doesn't have lvl 3 agents, you'll have to grind lvl 2s until you reach 5+ in standing towards that corp to unlock the lvl 4s.

I think that a little bit of research about the corps *before* starting the missions would have helped you avoid this situation ... not all NPC corps are equal.

Or maybe the "missing" L3 agents are outside your search parameters (low sec, other region, etc).

In any case, yes. Corps were not made equal. Many lack cloning facilities. Many lack agents in certain divisions or of certain levels. Some have better LP stores than others. Etc. The consequences of working for one are pretty minimal though; you can always switch when you've learned more about what you need out of the game.

You realize that you only get ONE faction-standing-increasing mission every 16 standard missions, yes ?

Getting to 5+ in faction standing can take the best part of a year of grinding, even more so if you're trying to balance your standings between the four Empires (as I try to do).

But yes, there is that way too.

Or changing the NPC corp you do missions for, or doing combat missions for the same corp (those give a better increase in standing than mining missions, all levels being equal).

There are plenty of ways of raising your faction standing, following the plan by DMC is one set of ideas for it & 5 standing can easliy be gained in a few weeks

Could Klang take the (now rotting) pizzas & the launcher out as they leave the building plz.

You can effectively start running the COSMOS mission at aorund 1.5 Faction standing and you can push that to over 6 in a little over a weeks time just running the COSMOS missions. Of course a faction standing of 5 gives you access to every agent regardless of corp in that faction.

Run missions for smaller sized corps. Standing goes up faster.
