Im looking into joining FW for any of the 4 empires and need a few questions answered before I commit:

  • Only being able to fly up to cruisers, how long will it take me to make the 10,000 LP to buy a faction frig in terms of missions run?

  • Do you recommend running solo or in groups of 2 or 3? How much will this impact LP earned?

  • Which warfront is the most active with players and corps?

  • Any other useful mechanics of FW missioning would be appreciated also. I know that my mission complex will be visible to everyone in system but what other things are there?

Im not looking for isk/hour but a way to get shiny ships to pew pew with, and with the changes coming now seems to be a good time to learn the ropes.

One mission. Solo, use SB and chain missions. You'll earn many 10,000s of LP every chain.

Training for SBs right now but cant fly them well for about another month so assume it will all be in tech 1 frigs/cruisers. Only 2.2mill SP scattered around pvp skills.

Use a disposable frig and grind up standings for lvl4 access while SB is training.
