I've seen the charts that show what types of things will be found in hi, low, and null sec. My question is, in hi-sec space, will you generally find more valuable stuff in a .6 than in a .9? Or is the same for all hi-sec areas regardless of the security rating?

IME, it's the latter. I haven't seen any difference in frequency of sites no matter what the Sec Stat of the system. The primary difference is High, Low, Null.

This. High sec is high sec. Some of the best sites can even clump up in 1.0 rookie systems simply because they're dead end and anyone with reason to go there lacks the skills to pin (or run) the sites.

A question about sites "clumping up": When a site is run and re-spawns somewhere else, how far away can it be? Same constellation? Same region, but limited to the same security class? Same region but any sec class? Same faction area? What?

Same faction, same security band. At least as far as anyone knows. So if a 3/10 despawns, it will spawn again somewhere it's allowed (high sec, appropriate belt rats). 4/10s and 6/10s are more ambiguous but current thinking seems to be that they are allocated by sec band as well (that is, when a high sec 4/10 despawns it will respawn in high sec). Otherwise we'd assume that 4/10s would eventually clump in low.

Some of the exploration sites used to be restricted to specific system security levels. Don't know if it's still the same.

Such as Burrow or Hideaway sites (don't remember which) are only found in 1.0 and 0.9 sec systems. Also a while back didn't CCP make Havens or Sanctums only spawn in true null sec systems?

I can't comment on anything regarding high sec sites, but I do know from repeated personal experience that Havens and Sanctums can spawn in low sec; I frequent at least a few .1 systems where they pop up fairly regularly.
