It does have scientific relevance and if you do your research with an open mind you may see some value to it. And if not, that's fine also.

Know that the MBTI is not a code to live by but only a tool to help you understand yourself a little better. None of the information is 100% valid to every individual but it is very accurate when trying to assess how different individuals think and operate. For example. psychologists would use this indicator to help identify people better.

I have come across people like yourself who prefer to live in the here and now and see no value in trying to label one another. Put down your ego, open your mind and try the test. Try this one MBTI Test. Get your type and google your 4 letter answer. The test is a little outdated but accurate. Bring it back here so we can all say, "HEY THATS YOU!"

These personality-types things can be dangerous in the wrong hands. My old boss loved doing executive seminars and retreats, and at one, she made us all take Myers-Briggs tests. I came out on the border between an analytic researcher type and an intuitive idealist type. Thereafter the idiotic boss considered me a skipping-through-the-flowers hippy type and held it against me. She wanted aggressive extrovert types, like herself. Eventually I had to find a new job-- that wasn't altogether a bad thing.

Doesn't mean you will naturally find yourself in a leadership role, but you will have the preferences that enable you to be effective at such a role... I say roll an alt and try leadership out.

Not bankrupt, but down to about 40% of the income she used to have. The emphasis shifted from producing professional work to being sales people and hooking more clients, i.e. income. Eventually the core people got sick of the nonsense and bailed, and one of them took 60% of the business with her. Smile

i co-founded a splinter-corp off of a larger group. i don't do a whole lot of mining, i guess. i'd rather put effort into scanning down sites and playing the market where i can.
