When I use the "Number of Pilots Currently Docked and Active" button in Star Map: Statistics does that count include pilots in space (active) or only ones docked?

I went into a low security system that had no pilots active on the star map and when i jumped in there were about 15 people on local...

Thanks in advance

There is a delay between star-map data and actual in space reality. In null sec we use the number of npc kills in the last *insert time frame* to find systems with targets.

As for what your asking, i cant say i have ever used that feature... due to the delay numbers are likely to change... as you found out

The map has a delay update, as people dock/undock the numbers are different, if you also check pilots in space option you can make a asesment. Also if both show low to no players and local is full its a roaming fleet. As they go through many sistemrs the map updates a average so they will appear less on the map but spread to the sistems they were in. [*] The drake is not a lie
