Currently studying medicine and hopefully I will end up as Surgeon or Emergency Doctor.

I don't have a job now, so I live on my savings, but in 2013 I have planend to take a training course that will allow me to get a job at the hospitals as what they call a backup nurse (bad translation). It will net a fair ammount of money and it will give experiance :)

Also, because EVE doesn't seem to attract in numbers the "certain types of clientele" that MMOs like WoW or Rift do.

Both games have seen a downturn in... Being good.

Funny thing though, I get bored with WoW easily and what I like about Eve is there really is something to do for us casual players (read as Husband and father of a 5 month old daughter). I mainly mine on my main and once this guy is trained will transfer him to the other account and have a mission runner/pirate. Again, totally casual. I couldn't really do that in WoW or else I'd fall behind in gear from the rest of the Guild.

I go well with Quafe...

it is actually quite funny. Ppl have often said that wow is getting dumped down for casuals. However I say that wow is getting dumped down for the bad/ lazy. When I started wow there was lots of challenging content. However as more of it got dumped down I was forced into more hardcore playstyles to get the challenges I was seeking.

Fellow Minnesotan here (recently transplanted). I'm one of those old-ish technical wizards. I did work for Radio Shack a long time ago. Radio Shack was the tech-wizard version of McDonald's back then.

Be careful in Pulsar systems, you might get Pod Flu.

I just walked the line tonight with a degree in design and drafting and I feel your pain with GD&T. I'm hoping with this I'll get into a mechanical field myself real soon and I already have plans to go back in a year and work on Project Management.

Yep... Back in the day (bear with me here) when you didn't jump into system at a gate etc, people kind of assumed that you were a grizzled old Elite vet or something like that. More than once I've heard "aren't you a little young to be into this kind of game?". Now, ten years later I'm turning 30, and, while many people strike me as annoying adolescents the first time I meet them, I often realise that I'm the little kid.

Don't often see that outside of hardcore sim or 4X communities.

I'm in an interesting position, seeming both young and "old". Best not to observe me too closely or I might collapse.

Truly, you have a dizzying intellect.
