What a sad accident, last weekend in the Indycar Series Dan Wheldon.

Definately not a good time for racing :(

R.I.P. to both guys and my sincerest condolences for families and friends.

saw the footage, and I was surprised at the violence of the impact.

I mean, his helmet flew out of his head. that by itself shows how violent the accident was.

I always wonder how many people watch racing and other dangerous sports how many of them are just waiting for that big megacrash to end all crashes.

I'm one of them, but I don't watch motorcycle racing as I think it's stupid to go more than 90mph on something with 2 wheels and no protective frame.
