...and with this change goes the final nail in the coffin that was my joy at playing EVE Online. been a fun 6 years but with a wave and a "see you later, maybe" I'm out.

My alt runs out in 2 days and my main will run out in a few weeks, just going to let them expire.

and no, you can have my stuff, even tho technically it's CCP's stuff...

Here sanity, nice sanity.....THWOOK Got the bastard

Yeah I quit eve this week. Missions became so terribly tedious. I guess there is no real way to keep a mission interesting though. I'd like to see an implementation of actual manual flight. That would switch things up a bit, though maybe not all that much now that I think of it.

Yeah between the bounty system which made me a target everywhere and the mission AI's tedious bullshit, I realized there were better things I could be doing with my time.

If I'm not mistaken, the rats will go for whichever ship has the smallest tank or the biggest damage potential, in the same way sleepers determine how they're going to switch targets.

I'm not so sure about the new AI but in Incursions & sleepers AI the rats go ABSOULTULY crazy evenmoreso against jammers when it comesto whom they target... is it possible to trick the new AI to target ewar + tanked ships like we did when Incursions first came out?
An' then Chicken@little.com, he come scramblin outta the Terminal room screaming "The system's crashing! The system's crashing!" -Uncle RAMus, 'Tales for Cyberpsychotic Children'

Yeah this expansion broke me. I lost about 5b in missions and got a 2.4b bounty over night. Soon I realized that my days of flying expensive T3's were over. Would be foolish to fly around and attract the entire community to kill me. I really hate sounding like a whiny *****, but my ability to play eve was reduced in such a way that I could no longer have fun. I hate it, but I don't personally see any way around it. Eve has just evolved in a way that it pushed me out of the game.

If that is a reason to quit, you should learn to adapt....

I didn't see PL mass quiting after Titans lost their AOE Doomsday, or when the damage of the current Doomsday was nerved, even though they pretty much depended on them. I don't see other people quiting because their Heavy Missiles got hit by the Nerfhammer. Even Highsec Alliances managesd to Adapt.

How about you draw some inspiration from the infamous Karttoon crap. He killed off an entire Alliance, yet that very alliance reformed, and is one of the strongest around.

All I hear from you is you are so set in your ways, that you aren't even willing to consider changing your strategy. You got a DUMBED DOWN version of the Wormhole AI, and you still complain.

The bounties really make me laugh. they are next to useless, as it'll still atract CONCORD in Highsec. So unless you get jumped by a 15man fleet, the only way to die in a T3 is if your hardners are off. And I sure hope I don't need to tell you what a daft idea that is, even in High.

Tell me then - if I am flying a Vargur with 36 million SPs under my belt and I am now absolutely defensless against frigates as I just had my drones popped in 5 seconds (I took the time, yes) and now I am sitting in a pocket with at least 10 frigates webbing and scramming me and I can't do anything... where exactly should I adapt to?

Oh, that's right, I adapted by cancelling my sub.

This so much this... also you can fit a t3 to cost right around a bil and still solo a lvl4 (atleast a tengu{even after the Heavies got nerfed) actually with the price decrease for tengus atleast last time i looked you may be able to get a good one set up for under 1 bil.

Edit: also there are other ships out there that work it just requires a step back and some good ole theory crafting

Oh, Do go on... no seriously ive got nothing better to do then listen to all the petty arguments and feeble trolling attempts...

The sad thing is i'm not sure if i'm telling the truth.
