Open Letter to All Former Members


It has been roughly 1,000 days since The Junta disbanded and its members went their separate ways. Over the last few weeks an organic, grass root effort has coalesced to bring together former members. The operation title "phoenix" began with some former leaders reconnecting and slowly bringing others together. It has been 1,000 days in the fire and like the mythical phoenix we choose to ascend.

We are circulating this notice to former members to announce our intent and to make anyone, who may be interested, aware of our emergence.

At present, we do not have any exalted goals or grand ambitions. Our aim is to primarily rebuild the camaraderie, friendship, connection, and the principles that founded our original organization. The specific in game decisions will be made later at an appropriate time, but they will be consistent with our past and present mission of being “the premier organization for the working adult.”

If you are a former member interested in Operation Phoenix contact me or drop into the JUNTA channel in game. We will make sure you get connected with the appropriate communication outlets. We currently have a TS3 server and mailing list to expedite planning and feedback.

Been great the last few days to catch up with the old crew on comms. Many fond memories and laughs.

I am looking forward to this new incarnation of The JUNTA and look forward to reconnecting with past members and new friends for some in game adventures.

Optimistically we are off to exciting start with many prior Rule of Five, 5th Freedom returning members and contact/interest from other previous members.

Many of us have progressed from beginner newbie towards the bitter vet stage, and are looking towards rekindling the interest in Eve content with old friends and a fresh outlook on the possibilities of what we may achieve together may look like.

Truly at the core of any MMO its the people you choose to spend your time with that matters. Our shared success and laughable failures all become more sweet and fond memories when experienced with friends who have a in-game history together.

Here's looking forward to our future "I was there" tm moments in Eve.

Yes, we are accepting new members, also. I think the reminiscing phase is over but people are still trickling in. It will be a real corp and not a social club ;) We are located on the border of Amarr/Matari space. drop by JUNTA Phoenix channel and we will be glad to answer questions in detail.
