Hey everyone,

So I just returned to eve after a Year and im currently Flying an Apoc with the ability to fit most t2 Lower and t2 Mid slots.
As far as High slots im just about able to use t2 pew pew lasers. Im currently Running L3 missions and not L4's due to the recent changes i dont want to lose my Apoc. When I was here a year ago i was focused on getting the Abaddon as my next mission boat. I plan on making the next ship my Final ship just ot run L4's Solo. I will stay with lasers as im currently been training only lasers.

Sorry if i missed any crucial info as im currently at work and im trying not to get caught....not working Roll

Clearly an excellent ship!

Specially for someone who's to scared to fly an Apoc into L4s. Roll

"We want PvE activities to require active participation and mirror PvP more closely." Stacking penalty for NPC EWAR then? Lock range under 9km from over 100 in a BS is not fun. Nor is two NPC web drones making me crawl 10m/s. PvP SW-900 x5: 75m/s.

This was also my first thought.
It is probably a much better missioner than the Baddon or Apoc, and.... it is sexy Cool

I would recommend getting comfortable with L4s before you peer into a 1bil+ investment. I'm no Amarr pilot but most people I see go:

Apoc to Apoc Navy to Nightmare (most people avoid Bhaalgorns for PvE purposes)

Or If you can use t2 heavy drones the Armageddon hull shines.

Yea the 1Bil+ is currently above income level. The APocs speed is making roll my face across my keyboard but thats to be expected i guess in a giant floating brick. I am tired of the look of the Apoc and tbh its what lured me towards the Abad as it looks more alot better. I will keep the Nightmare in mind i guess for the time being.

Maybe I should be asking.. "If im not running L'4s at the moment, by flying a BS is it overkill for L3? or not as effective in clearing mission as a BC would be? (Like should i get back into my Harb for the time being)?

The "everything in the room instantly aggros you" bug has been fixed for a while now.

BSs are good in L4s due to the speed at which they can blap down NPC BSs. In L3s, where the main opposition is BCs, cruisers and frigs, their big fat heavy damage weapons aren't quite as effective. The Harbie might come out on top for L3s due to its speed and easier damage application to smaller targets.

Have you considered High Sec exploration? You would be surprised the money you can make by flying safely through space and scanning out sites that others cannot be bothered to do. A friend of mine has made this his calling, making anywhere from 50-300m an hour depending on the loot fairy. The sites in high sec tend to be far less demanding compared to L4s, and losing smaller ships makes learning curves easier. Just fit a probe launcher into a utility high, turning off any turrets or mids in order to activate it, and scan away! Once you have the site scanned down, disable the probe launcher, reactivate your mods, and get to pewing! My pal flies an active Omen in Domain space, so I guess fly something akin to whatever region you choose to do business.

And remember, Fly Dangerously!

Save up/train up for a marauder(Paladin). If you go with nightmare then you'll have to train 2 racial battleship skills + shield tanking and its really not a ship for those who havent drilled every mission into their head.

Plus you already have your armor tank :)

Eventually you'll get a second marauder, i recommend Vargur and then you are set for good when it comes to eating L4s.

Or yeah, get a legion just for high sec exploration to break up the grind, tis' what i do when i get sick of missions.

Don't worry about getting a different ship. Get better at using the Apoc, and start running l4 missions.

If you want to re-aquaint with missions first run half a dozen or so L3's in a well fitted BC, say a Harbinger.

You will get some familiarity with the recent changes to missioning, especially with regard to drones
You can then make a better informed decision on which BS to use in L4's when considering your own skills and preferences.

also, welcome back.

as long as you have your drone bay full of hobgoblins, you will not go pop. also, nightmare.

I am thinking about doing that. What do I expect once I scan down a site and get there? I also considered hacking
