People have been getting starter isk from me and when ive checked they never even used my link or my invite. Could just be me but when you send an email invite at least u have something to trace it from. Usually i start the month with a postman!

This happened to me through his service, I am relatively sure that i used his invite link from his forum post. I am not showing up for him as he has stated. He has still sent me starter isk, he is a very trust worthy individual, he is even letting me keep the isk. I also want to say that he has done this for myself and my fiance, so that is x2 the trouble.

I am trying to find out "who" got my invite credit(I have not subbed yet, but we will be). If anyone has any info on the matter our emails are:

Again, Giuseppe is a great guy and I feel awful about the situation. I would really like to find out who the buddy invite was through, because even though i am almost 100% positive i used his link, it is not showing up on his end.

I have also opened a petition to gain more insight on this situation, and have the issue solved.

With the public links, there is no way to know that the person used your invite until they actually upgrade their account. That's expected; that's just how it works. That's also the reason why I don't offer any ISK upfront to people. It would only enable scammers and that is something I'd rather not do.

Its a mess as it only shows just the time and date the link was used, i have lost isk to try to maintain my reputation and i now realise the system via the link is broken and ill never use it again. I have dished out isk to people today who were saying i owe them starter money etc, when i checked who used my link none of them had!!

Usually i start the month with a postman!

When you upgrade, the person whose link you used will see that an account using their buddy invite link was upgraded. They will be able to see the exact date/time (down to 1 second) of when that happened. If you send them the exact time of your account creation (which you can find in account management -> account -> transaction history), they will be able to verify that it was indeed you who upgraded the account.

Hello Eve

Vhei Sambos is the guy that helped me start off smoothly here on eve online.

I took advantage of his offer, watched his channel on youtube for some basic tutorials. I email him and few hours later his there ready to help you. He will answer all you're questions regarding eve online. The guy is great and will always be there to give some tips and advice on how to play EVE. We recently introduced the Open Buddy URL which is an anonymous link that players can share to give an extended trial and also receive a reward when Buddy accounts are upgraded using an eligible payment method.

Please note that as the open Buddy URL is anonymous then it is intended that accounts created using the Buddy link will only appear in Account Management once the Buddy account is upgraded.
