I don't know how many of you have read "The Burning Life" but there was a scene in the book that alluded to a specific individual using a different body than his current one to communicate for him. The body was capable of movement and speech. Not much else is given.

In any case, out of my own desire to explain how one person is capable of controlling two bodies at once, I wanted to make a eve article about it in the evelopedia files. I'm just not sure if its technically allows because of how much speculation there could be about the implant. The best that could be given is a very general idea on what it is and how it works.

To physically pupeteer a clone of yourself using an implant to control motor and speech function sounds raisinable. Haven't read the book, however.

It would also go so far as to be used to allow one pilot become two. Alts, if you will. Allowing two ships to be fully controlled by one.
One body would contain the consciousness of the pilot while the other is but a shell with the basic functions, such as breathing, to keep it alive.
