well considering that as far as public opinion goes (as WiS is lumped in with the Incarna disaster, Greed is Good, the Summer of Rage and the NeX store as far as most people see it and has become fruit of the poisonous tree) when WiS came out they lost 20% of the company from all the people leaving the game are you really surprised the company is hesitant to revisit it?

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit.

Aye I remember seeing the file names come by while watching an update.

The "Key to the door" BP" requires a Villard wheel. That item was originally needed to make a T1 perpetual motion machine. You had to invent a T2 perpetual motion machine to get a bill of materials that did not include a Villard wheel.

So maybe what we will need to do is make a T2 BPC for the key.

oh man... that sucks... wish they had realeased them before the reshift in focus...

even if they let us have 1 small thing per year... that would work for me... like have some people do it on spare time or something so that it does not take away from development time...

Lets say we get the Key BPO, but cannot do anything with it. Will CCP change the door message from "Station environment not yet decontaminated for capsuleer consumption" to "You do not possess a key to the door"?

Edit: They could also give us the key, but no way to actually carry it with the avatar. It just sits there in inventory, unusable. But here is the thing about all of these and other troll ideas:

CCP does not troll Christmas.

    I think the funniest thing would be if the key did work... and using it would suck you out the door into the airless corridors and turn you into a frozen (well dressed?) corpse tumbling out the undock.

    Probably because of well known phenomenon - Oedipus complex - when children try to kill and/or f... I mean "have intercourse with" their parents (and Incarna did the latter with CCP with probability to do the former).

    Heh... I noticed that print too... then I went to go check the build requirements. I almost started buying things for the lulz and then I realized that that door button print is a dirty CCP troll. All the materials you need to actually manufacture the door button are already in-game... except one. So you have a print and you can get most of the materials, but one component isn't in-game and so no door buttons will be built. Just FYI. Big smile

    Signatures should be used responsibly...
