What's the weirdest thing thing you have an addiction to?

This is on my mind as I currently feel withdrawl symptoms due to a lack of new reading material at hand; not expecting to be at work for over 40 hours I didn't bring much to read.

Having read my two books, a couple of wargaming magazines (read numerous times) and a three-day old newspaper that I've been through about six times.. I'm feeling a little like I imagine an actual drug-user might - twitchy and stuff.

So, share people!

Coffee and cigarettes. Nothing special, I guess...

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Gravy cubes.

Used to lick them as a child, guess I had a salt addition...or an MSG addition.

Pretty strange, but I also used to eat cat biscuits...sort of hence my name.

Sleep.

I try to quit, but the craving always overwhelms me.

Yeah, I always sleep in three hours after my target time everyday. Sometimes I get out of my bed with only 2 hours lost!

It's terrible how we let it control our lives. Sad

Exhaust fumes of car engine using leaded gasoline, no catalyzer nor any other fancy schmancy filters, classic style.
No, seriously.
My parents used to freak out about this,
"this smells great!"... "NOOoo, get the hell out of the garage, I just parked the car, it's poisonous, let it air first".
Filthy clean legislation and all that progress, making car exhaust no longer smell nice, what a sham.

I used to be able to get up at my desired time, but then I let it slip one day and now it's been like this for the past few months.

Best of luck bro! Not easy, but I know some pretty ordinary weak-willed people who have done it. One of these days I'll join you in the ex-smokers club.

I feel for you. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

Smoked about as long as you, and quit several times. Now I haven't had one in about a year, and have no desire for a smoke. It gets better with time. It really does.

Totally worth quitting for both your health, and wallet.

Surrender is still your slightly less painful option.
