as an alt of someone who´s got better things to do but needs the isk, i am asking and following question:

what´s a good toon-setup (skilwise) to solo lvl4´s nowadays.

my main could do all missions fairly easy (of a bit slow) with a navy domi before retribution.

my mission -al t should be something else (no drone-skills) so a copy of main is out of the question....

could someone give me a list of skills and needed levels to to lvl4´s ?
and no i am not asking for an AFK-skillset. not a big fanof afk´in in a game i pay for.....

thx in advance

too lazy to look up the skills one by one, but basically decide which ship/space you prefer (i'd advise machariel/minmatar) and then train all the necessary skills to fly it effectively. the only other relevant skills are the social skills that increase standings and payouts.

I should buy an Ishtar.

The game pretty much provides that skill set in the suggested certs for a BS:
Core Comp standard
Tanking (shield or Armor) standard
Battleship turret standard.
I would also suggest drone control standard as well.

That will give you the minimum, that does not mean it is sufficient for all play styles, but it is a good start.

If you plan on using just 1 ship for missioning in all regions the mach is a very good choice, even with meta 4 guns to start with. Tengu still works... but killing BS in a tengu is slow. Mach will pretty much burn through everything.

i have to admit , to me the mach is probably one of the coolest ships in eve (looks-wise) but shelling out so much isk for
a mission ship bugs me a lil. i dont want to become an even bigger pirate-gank prey

pirates don't gank you for the ship, they gank you for the modules. if you keep your fitting reasonably cheap, you don't need to worry. unless you mission in low or null of course.

^^^^ this, you don't need mega expensive mods to make it work. My XL SB was round 150mil.. and the only other "fancy" items I have if faction gyro's, which I got through LP store. I also used to be weary of overpriced pirate faction ships.. but they well worth it. Only one I don't fly is the vindi, it needs a spare utility high slot, well for my purposes anyway.
