Storyline mission "Evolution"

I have a toon i'm just doing Distro missions while net surfing with, to get Station Standings. That toon got an L4 Storyline mission, so I decided to do it, and took a long an actual toon that could fight.

Arrived on mission spot in a frig and a Drake, and aside from ship debris, no enemy ships. EVE Survival stated ships should be there. Warped in and out a few times, even flew around among the debris. Thinking It bugged, I waited until DT and tried again. Same thing. Flew around for 5-10 mins and left.

Reported as bug, didn't get anything resolved. Cancelled mission after a few days, lost 25% Standing with that NPC group. Ouch.

Anyway, any comments from someone that ran that mission would be appreciated.

I actually got that storyline mission AGAIN, and just cancelled it immidiately, just in case.

I apparently have no idea what I'm doing.

Next time file a petition in-game when that happens. 'Agent mission in progress - Character stuck'.

No need to take a standings hit for quit / fail and definitely don't need to pass up on chance to gain Faction standing increase.

This weekend I filed a petition on the Amarr epic arc "Making an arrest" where my journal showed objective completed and the agent wouldn't let me finish the mission.

With 5 minutes a GM fixed it for me and completed the mission.
