Hi,

The new AI and effectiveness of the Weapon Disruptors make this mission a real pain to do.

I have a 40km range with my lasers and multi-frequency cristals in normal circumstances... With only 3 of them disrupting me i have a 4km range, i can't hit anything.

Even if i DO get in range to shoot them, i just always miss... I'm target painting them, got all the related gunnery skills to 5, and i have a Tracking computer with tracking script into them...

There's around 7 or 8 of them doing Weapon Disrupting in the 2nd wave... The rest is fine... Might be a good idea to review that...

I've been running this mission for 3 years now, and i only start having trouble after the last patch.

If your plan was to make missions running harder... Well no problem, but make it worth the effort then.

I assume you are flying a marauder or a nightmare so your options are:
-use navy xray/ultraviolet on tachs
-2 tracking comps + 1 TE
-try the new MJD and bring sentries to pop that 2nd wave

right? having started caldari I had to discover drones and train them, and seek drone ships out.

welcome to the opposite problem

Ironic really, considering that before this patch people were crying that it was the END OF CALDARI!! CCP HATES CALDARI! WHEN WILL THEY STOP THEIR HATE OF ALL THINGS CALDARI?

Perhaps, because TDs don't affect us missile users, bro? :p

OP, personally I'd go with something small and fast to get under their guns. If you use Paladin, I feel for you. As someone above suggested, two TCs and a TE should do the trick, but it'll still be painful.

Reminds me of that one mission (can't remember the name right now) that has 6 ECMing elite cruisers - I once tried doing that and spent nearly an hour chain-ECMed before I finally broke through.

Try fit a MJD and snipe away those elite cruisers? Assuming its stats remain the same, their attack range is about 40km ish.
Put some distance and you should be able to get several shots off easily before they come into range.

I have been running this mission as well for a few years, and the TD's in this mission have been bugging me since I did them. I haven't done this one since Retribution, or since the patch that fixed a portion of the TD's.
But still the Sansha version was one that always bugged me because of the TD's. Need to say though that I'm a pulselover and never used Tachs.
Since I moved to bloodraider space this mission feels so much better :-)

it has been a while since I've done missions....
But if memory serves me well, you can warp in this mission.
So getting range should not be that hard.

Try using a MJD and a sniper boat. It works well if you just stay out of range of the TDs.

Blood raider version is the way to go for Blockade imo. Much fewer TD's and neut cruisers start at over 70km, leaving tach paladins and nightmare's plent of breathing room to snipe them before they get in range.

They only problem I have with it, if at all, is that if I let any frigs get too close, I have to deploy my drones and risk them getting molested in turn...poor drones Cry

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Unfortunately, i don't have much Blood Raiders mission in my area.

I might move away tho with the new patch.

And yes, The Blockade is this mission with 6 TD Elite cruisers. Making it really hard to take down with drones, but still possible i ran this mission twice since the patch is on and both time it took me around 1h30, it's not impossible it's just long and painfull.

I'll try a new fit, but i did like this one, i had it for a whole year and never had problem running any missions exept the bonus room of Angel Extravaganza.

As for the range, they target me and start Disrupting me at REALLY long range.

Thanks for the answers and the tips. I'll try something to fix it on my end, but i do think there's a serious problem with Sansha's TD right now. But honestly this is the only mission that gave me that much trouble
