Shot at a char with a bounty on him and got blown up by Concorde and branded a criminal.

SO...what is the point of bounties if you cannot get them?????

Also, having a bounty doesn't give anybody kill rights. Those are seperate.

Everything in EVE is a trap.

You have a very small window to shoot them after a bounty is added. The bigger the bounty the longer you have to shoot after it is placed. Try placing a 1b bounty on someone, that should give you rights to shoot them for about 22 minutes.

If only CCP had summed up all that concerns bounties and crimewatch somewhere...it really would be helpful to have a table listing everything...Oh, wait...

OP you need to time it right.
You have to kill the target with in the concord response timer to collect on the bounty.

If OP read the patch notes people wouldn't have to post these facts.

In a measure of irony that I, personally, find highly pleasing, I am pretty sure this bountied individual now has a killright on you...because you shot him.

In that case have your alt steal from your can and then pew pew for your bounty. On a side note, you only get 20% of what you kill back in bounty, so you end up losing if you try this on yourself.

Bounties do not give kill rights, they only give reward for killing said target. It is up to you to figure out how to get kill without being blown up.
