Re-doing the LP store idea

Example:

Federation Navy Light X Blaster:

89 x Caldari Navy Captain Insignia I = 89 x 16.000isk = 1.424.000isk
112 x Caldari Navy Captain Insignia II = 112 x 20.000isk = 2.240.000isk
135 x Caldari Navy Captain Insignia III = 135 x 1.800.000isk !!! = 243.000.000isk !?!?

1 x Light X Blaster
1 x 7.200.000isk

Item cost around 253.864.000isk !!! for ONE SMALL faction blaster!?!?!



My request is that CCP look into this and do something about it.

Idea:

You can buy faction items by,

as a friend of that corporation with Loyalty Points and the required amount of ISK

or

as a outsider with a bag full of insignia's and the required amount of isk.



So, NOT LP and Insignia's but LP or Insignia's

It would be good outside of FW LP stores. I have 90k LP with a faction and there is nothing worth buying due to the ridiculous number of tags needed.

The tag requirements cause all sorts of problems. A similar example is that a 5 run imperial navy energy neut BPC costs many times more than a 5 run large neut BPC because it requires not only more tags, but rarer tags too. And then of course there is the problem of 4/5ths of the faction items being inferior to t2 or and meta 4 in many cases.

The problem is the flood of LP that entered the system after the changes. There was too much LP and too few tags. This caused the prices of tags to sky rocket. Furthermore, the cost of larger modules seems to be out of wack with small ones.

Btw, this is something CCP is aware of. It was mentioned in the CSM Minutes.

I still have no idea how to get the chips and stuff needed to get the faction ships. And the tags are really annoying since you have to take standing hits just to get them.

Nexus chips are in the stores themselves. They don't cost much. They also drop from Storyline missions (I have a minmatar one from one). They might drop from rats and plexs too.

I am all for this. Another example is that with just a nexus chip, some lp, and isk you can buy any of the ships or with just LP and ISK you can buy the BPC for the ships, but you are REQUIRED to have tags for the modules. And like someone else said, to get the tags you have to take standings hits, so eventually if you do it enough, you get locked out of parts of EVE universe. Not good if you are part of a major alliance.

SO yeah this needs to be fixed, give us the option. Either we kill for the tags, or we pay a little extra to get what we want.


On a side note, I was just able to purchase a Dark Blood Large Armor Repairer for 10mil more than it would have cost me to get an Imperial Navy Large Armor Repairer from an LP store and that's without the LP, that's just the ISK cost.

CCP should really re-do the LP store soon. How about NPC are going to buy and sell insignias. If I need some Caldari insignia's, I go to Caldari Navi and buy them for a normal price.

112 x Caldari Navy Captain Insignia II = 112 x 25.000isk = 2.800.000isk
