Hi there, my main has been temporarily relocated to high sec so I've been getting into some security missions, but I have a few questions hopefully you guys can help out with:

1. Almost all of my skills are in Amarr ships, and I can fly a very decent apoc/baddon. I'm running missions in Kor-Azor at the moment and I'm finding that a lot of the missions are against gallente/minnie ships that take ages to cut through with lasers. Are there mission agents somewhere in high sec that will only give targets weak to em/thermal?

2. Given that the answer to question one is "nope", I'll probably skill into a race that allow me to choose my damage type. I'm not keen on flying expensive marauder/pirate ships because my main has a very substantial bounty on his head. Any recommendations on a decent standard battleship for cutting through security missions? I have very few skill points in races besides amarr, so it realy doesn't matter which race I go with.

the mission rat type depends on the faction you are running for and the local pirate rats. for example if you run for a minmatar agent in gallente space you will get mostly angel, amarr and serpentis missions. if you want as many em/thermal weak rats as possible, go to amarr space and look for amarr corps. you will still get the occasional minmatar, gallente, angel or gurista mision but the majority will be the rat type of the region.

as for damage types: navy raven and maelstrom are good ships. if you have the ISK, go for machariel, the king of hisec.

I should buy an Ishtar.
