Hello all

Just a quick question: i am being asked to freight some stuff (800.000 m3 in my Charon) to a POS in hisec. I am not member of the corp, but have the forcefield password.

How do I drop the stuff? As i am not of the corp, i can not open the hangars, and just jettisoning GSC does not work (too many for the 800.000m3).

I cannot eject from the Charon, as the person that I moving stuff for cannot pilot it.

Any help appreciated.

Regards

Juan

Can't you jettison freight containers these days? Have someone that can access the hangers transfer it.

Don't move ships for the FFA in a freighter....Have in corp Orca's for that movement.

As for your solution:

Put the stuff in freight containers.
Move to POS
Jettison freight containers.
Let someone with access drag the stuff to the SMA / CHA

Now that your question is answered and on an entirely different note; using caps is annoying and makes you look like a 12 yearold. Please don't do that :)

This.

Using capitals doesn't mean your question will be answered quicker nor will it mean it attracts more attention to it.

Shrug, it's only the post title, and it's short, and I imagine he was sitting there with his freighter in a relatively vulnerable spot trying to figure out wtf to do.

Well he had the POS force field pass.
It likely is in the FFA system, which is high-sec.

More or less safe

Extremely likely, because he had the password and secondly wasn't in corp or alliance. If the POS was in lowsec it would have had guns, and those guns would have torn his poor freighter to shreds.

Not really.

It depends on how the owner set up the settings for the POS +
If he entered the password before warping, he would have warped straight into the forcefield, which means he is invulnerable (including from the POS itself).

EVEN IF HE COULD PILOT YOUR CHARON DO NOT EVER EJECT FROM YOUR SHIP. YOU WILL LOSE IT!!!

Can't you drop stuff in hangars even if you don't have access view/take access on them? or maybe I'm mixing stuff together and you still need a specific access... I don't remember well...

You can drop stuff in corporate hangars even without the roles but you must be IN the same corp to even have the ability to open those hangars.

As his freighter is out of corp he won't be able to open the corp hangars in the first place.
