My ladyfriend rescues dogs, cats, and small birds. We usually foster them until she finds them parents, but we did end up keeping a stray cat who was 3 or 4 years old an has now been with us for about 2 years. She's a sweet and gentle cat, black with a red undercoat.

I've a pair of Chow Chows, mine is a cinnamon puppy, my wife's is a cream colored one that is about 10 years old. They difinitely have personalities unlike any other dog breed I've experienced spending time around

Black and white female cat, clearly a klingon cat. She has a very strong sense of honor and will slice you if you insult her

I've got a small lapdog that loves to cuddle you while you're at your desk. Barely the size of a football, but filled with twice as much love as such.

1 mixed cat my sister rescued before I was born. Kesha (I didn't name him!)
1 Russian blue cat that my sister got from a friend. Simba (We thought she was a male lol)
1 Ragdoll cat from another one of my sisters. Freddy (I gave him that name, because Freddy krueger)

My siters always move from place to place so they can rarely keep pets.
The cats live with me now.

Alpheias: aww, he reminds me of Gilbert (my parent's stray cat I befriended and got accepted into the household years ago). Cry Not quite as fat looking, though it's hard to tell from a picture like that.

Very much a cat person myself I'd love to have a cat or two, but it wouldn't be fair to the poor thing, what with me living alone in a flat and spending 95% of my time sleeping, working or at the computer.

Maybe when I get a house and a family....
