Hi guys/gals,

Are all the minerals that we can get from refining items/roids completely unique to New Eden? Or because of all the lost knowledge from our RL galaxy are they just minerals that are well known here (iron, copper etc) but have been "renamed" as the civilizations have rediscovered them?

Just interested thats all :D

Seems most are fictional, but possibly based on real life concepts to at least make them believable. For example tritanium is used all the time. It could be some sort of titanium or aluminium alloy. Pyerite is an iron type material I'm sure.

Can find a few things on Wikipedia:

List of Fictional Elements, Materials, Isotopes, etc.
