School library.
The Wi Fi is **** slow, but at least I can manage my industry and fly my ships from place to place. (No combat)

Lolwut: "Yes, you kids don't know how lucky you have it. These days noobs get given free tackle ships for PvP but back in the old days the only tackle ships we were given were our pods. We had to use them to bump their rookie ships out of alignment to stop them warping off."

Crazy yanks ....

I remember the guy but not his name, unless there are 2.

Crazest place or lamest I ever played was in a motel in South Datoka. My laptop sucks and I was traveling across the country a couple years ago, so I accutally brought my Mac. Back when you could run classic mode I played on my laptop all over this hemisphere.

Also if you live in SD I'm sorry, I'm a city boy. SD is beautiful, but lets face after the sun goes down there's not a lot to do. One night in Deadwood is enough.

I think it was when i was in anzac alliance at the time in the south, but it's yearssssssssss back.

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

The connection was terrible and all I could do was update my skill queue.

Portsmouth by chance?
Actually Norfolk on the 781 California during their sea trials. It was about a month before they changed homeport to Groton.

Say what? I see English words but..

Basically just before one of those big life deciding tests I made my phone into a modem simply so i could play EVE and relax.
This was me versus US Sprint's love to make me pay extra for features built into the phone.
Oh and I passed the test with very good scores as well as 20% below the normal time.

Haha nice. Yeah I don't know a lot about Iphones but Tethering is amazing. Esp when your suppose to be paying for it. I have it on all my Androids.

Actually it was a Galaxy S3, Sprint US are just penny pinchers and want me to pay extra for the internal hotspot.
But I found a way around using USB tethering.
Oddly enough I cant access the forums or tvtropes when I do so, but I can go to other websites.
Really odd.

Inside the ROV control room with the sub in the water on location within 12 hours after the Deepwater Horizon went down. It was kinda boring sitting there watching the top of the BOP spew oil for days on end while BP was figuring out WTF to do so I broke out the laptop and got some EVE in.

In a really cool funky hotel on vacation in Bisbee, Arizona.

I attempted to play Eve while on jury duty. I though 'perfect, I can play Eve all day' but whatever security they had for their wifi there prevented me from getting Eve to work. I was most unhappy.

No good deed goes unpunished

That does sound odd. I do the same but don't have that issue. Might be the carrier.

In Intensive Care Unit, on life support. So many hoses and tubes, is that what being in a pod feels like?

I was using a small ASUS EEE 1000HA netbook before the SSE2 cut-off. Eve at 2am, was almost as much a life-saver as the expert medical care I received. (and I still can not watch GreysA).

Many times outside at night in Tokyo when I was doing the homeless-cause-I-was-a-poor-student and had to update skills and market orders.

Could afford the 3g modem though. ;)
