just curious about my fav market tracking site

iirc It went down before last summer and was supposed to come back in september, just to see it delayed to unpredictable future times. Lately I saw that a white page with a text announce saying "IT WORKS" was updated with a static page with some sort of graphic layout and a much more promising "Please wait a while longer. A new version IS coming."

so, eta can I haz?

Unfortunately it has been down for a few months. The code base had some serious memory / server performance issues that kept dragging the site down. I talked to the fellow a few months ago but that was around the time the site went down.

The code base is freely available for download, though it will take anyone who knows that they are doing 20 - 40 hours to get it functioning and re-creating the database. And then there is the issues that would still need to be resolved (like the 1500 item array that's created and loaded on every api request) among other issues.


It's too bad, it's really the best market site around.

Site is under rewriting and also using another data feed paradygm (which I can say it's not the quickest to implement, I am writing a similar thing myself). It'll take months.
