Except CCP have already released a statistic telling us the single richest player, alliance or corp has 5T. Second place was 1 point something.

on any single character, but there are individuals who will spread their wealth to different accounts or even keep it in assets. Worth can be non-liquid, which wouldn't come up as readily in a statistic :D

Bad Idea. Now more and more people use it as a RMT maschine. What did you guys think this is? Its a perfect cycle for making RMT money clean.

Amazing how many people fail to grasp the concept of gambling.

SOMERblink is a very enjoyable way for me to lose all the ISK I earn.

Sig blah blah blah blah

...my suspicions have been alleviated after watching somewhat and reconsidering it, as well as talking to one of the representatives briefly.

I'll continue using the service, though I won't be betting as much in the future I think. Cool

case and point : look at the winners of the blinks. they always are the ones with 20 and 30k entry tickets (at 1m to 1 ticket and 5 tickets needed for one entry) and there is SUPPOSED to be a redraw for repeat winners yet this week one person won 5b isk and a jump freighter in the same week on BONK. LMAO another EVE sponsored scam just like EVES pet corp GOONSWARM whos now running a recruitment scam with EVES blessing as they wont do a thing about it. LOVE EVE ...hate the double standards.

This one time, playing Blink i won a titan. True story. Love how all the haters come out for these things. Just shows that because they don't have the intelligence to come up with an original idea and put time and effort into said idea that everything around them that's successful is a scam.

Sad sad little men *shakes head*

Also won 100 plex and a titan BPO. Haters gonna hate Cool

I don't understand why so many people say blink is a scam, while I've put 7.5 billion into blink I have won alot like somewhere in the 10b, hard say exactly how much but my largest winnings was a Pirate/Navy pack where I won every pirate/navy ship in the game (except for the Revenant). I've won four promos, which are free and managed to win a PLEX on three occasions and recently won me an Archon, oh and the I won a second Navy Scorpion after lossing the first one that I won running missions, also got 2 rattlesnakes sitting in jita waiting for me and my alt to have the skills.

as ECHBlackthorn says: haters gonna hate

guess i must me a blink agent supporting the scam...

i get the concerns with everyone worried about stuff like this being a scam but the way it works should be pretty obvious....

they offer a ship worth say 1 billion. each ticket costs 100 million. to complete the blink requires 16 tickets. this means they make 1.6 billion on tickets for a net profit at 600million. the winner gets the ship cheap and everyone else that tried for it paid the rest of the bill.

it's not that it's a scam it is simply how lotteries work... lots of people put money in for the hope of a gain. for each item there can only be one winner so naturally there are people that put money in that received nothing back but that's how gambling works. i myself put 500 million into the website. lost 400 million without winning anything. but then with my last attempt i won a carrier worth 1.3 billion. so over all i've made money on the deal. i realize that i'm one of the lucky ones to be positive in my cash flow but again THAT'S HOW GAMBLING WORKS!!

stop complaining because you don't have the luck to win stuff or beause other people are getting rich off the idea and you can't get in on the action.

EDIT: woot there's a promo up!!! Cool

ISK Deposited 8,179,820,599 ISK
Value of Blinks Won 34,616,001,800 ISK
Winnings Transformed to Blink Credit 26,428,873,000 ISK
Winnings Transformed to ISK 3,490,860,000 ISK

seems Im on + by just some mlns, but im not loosing for sure!
unless it doesnt count minibonks won as i won one...

Im happy to see Blink being announced to even bigger community here. None said that yet but as ccp stated blink does give money here and there occasionally. Another example is that Blink sponsors ganked events, giving away alot of ships for the ppl that attend it .

Well I currently have made quite a bit more than I have lost. Maybe instead of whining about losing money you all should either learn how to gamble or get a job elsewhere.

I heard the blink website got hacked, proven to be a scam through use of shill players and also did i mention it got hacked? Gambling is one thing but I wouldn't gamble my money or isk at a place that has terrible security and cant even protect their own money. Not to mention there is almost no repercussion for the person who broke into their website. What's CCP gonna do? Ban them?

Just sayin'

I too love rumors that come with proof, like hundreds of login/passwords to existing blink player accounts.

Thing is Blink uses http://www.random.org/ to get the winners, no way they could get into agreement with them to help scamming ppl on some game
