Getting tired of the cord on my current headset getting tangled and want something wireless. My budget is max 200$ and would prefer to spend less. If this amount is off let me know (I know wireless costs more). So I'm looking for recommendations. If you. or a friend, have a wireless headset please let me know which one and what you think of it.

I'v never really liked headsets personally especially wireless ones but from a quick search these seem decent.


Sort of off topic for what you requested but for my self I prefer a real set of headphones like Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, Audio Technica, etc and then adding this mic to make my own headset with way better audio and mic quality than any headset could ever have.

Creative Labs Fatal1ty H-1200 Wireless - Creative Labs designs help with bass sounds in ways that other headsets have fallen far short of.

The in-built HD Audio on the PC I use for gaming has full equalizer suite and not a single problem, even with the old wired one.


EDIT: Embarrassing anecdote, playing AoC I was main tanking Champion of the Honorguard (pleb-spawn Boss in Kylikki's Crypt) and had the microphone close, the sound of breathing through my nose was like his AoE attack and had me wondering if it was the boss-sfx or me.

Fatal1ty headsets are awesome.

I use an Astro A-40. Awesome system, taps into the optical output and has an external soundcard for 7.1 surround sound. Also works as a headset for PS3 and Xbox 360, though it is wired. Superp sound quality I've had so far.

steelseries siberia v2 seems to be well-liked. planning on getting that one myself.

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...

I'm not sure on the Fatal1ty headset, anything less than $100 i'm a bit suspicious of. The Astro A-40 does look nice will but is not true wireless? it has a cord to a wireless box thing. Looking at the a-50 though. Unfortunately the Steelseries isn't wireless and that's something i'm looking for.

i picked up a set bluetooth headphones for about 30 bucks each.
they work fine, sounds is clear, mic is crisp. no complaints.

so i ended up getting the Logitech G930 Wireless Headset on sale
