I was just wondering what sources people use to keep up to date with in game politics / news?

I'm talking about things relating to the major corporations, alliances etc, big events etc.

Also, is there a place that lists that kind of information about the game?

I've done a bit of Googling and found a few news sites - but they don't seem to be too comprehensive.

Over the years there have been several such sites but they tend to move on. Currently that i know of there is
evenews24.com which is has trully terrible journalism but can be amusing sometimes.
themittani.com which is a bit better journalism wise but is unashamedly political.
failheap-challenge or whatever scrapheap became, a shadow of its former self.
He who shall not be named .com - bitter vet site, a shadow of its former self.

For raw information nothing beats dotlan, which has it all.

You don't. Just do something outrageously stupid/insane (or make someone else look outrageously stupid/insane) and hope someone picks up on it. Bonus points if you get other people to join in. Twisted

Or, you just stop bothering with all the nonsense, "news" and politics because politics and wars are pretty much a thing of the past in EVE. Partially due to the meta gaming and partially due to a lack of an enemy and people willing to rally against it. It's bland, it's boring and we've heard it all before.

For actual GAME news I tend to use Failheap, at least for the initial info.

there are bunch of alliances and corporations stroking their epeen with "politics" (like any other game with guilds/companies etc.) but you dont have to actually care about it at all
