Thorax for Lvl 3 missions?

I'm very new to this game and i don't know a whole lot about builds and what ships are right for certain missions.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a Thorax build that would work for lvl 3 security missions

Especially for a new player, a thorax is going to have a tough time with several L3 missions. You really need a battlecruiser until your support skills are solid.

Off the top of my head, you probably want to speed tank, which means permarun an afterburner. Don't have the fitting tools in front of me so going to estimate. Use T2 where you can. Meta 4 if you have difficulty with the fit.

Highs: 5x 200mm railguns (meta 4)

Mids: 10MN AB; 3x cap recharger II

Lows: DCU II, Med Armor Rep II, EANM II, 2x rat specific

Rigs: 2x cap control circuit; aux nano pump

Drones: 5x hobgoblin II (or rat specific)

May need to replace one of the cap rechargers with a meta 4 cap booster and cap booster 400s. Not sure if there is enough powergrid so may have to use an ancillary current router rig instead of the nano pump.

Hold off on level 3s until you can afford a Brutix, and just fit that like a Thorax with more guns.

Though be prepared for the battlecruisers to be updated and tiericided SOON(TM).

"We want PvE activities to require active participation and mirror PvP more closely." Stacking penalty for NPC EWAR then? Lock range under 9km from over 100 in a BS is not fun. Nor is two NPC web drones making me crawl 10m/s. PvP SW-900 x5: 75m/s.
