Question on Bond brokers;

I am looking to potentially purchase a bond in a few months, paying out 2% interest per month, 5-6 month duration. Fully collateralized with reasonably liquifiable assetts, and was wondering, how much do reputable brokers like Chribba, Darkness, or whomever else charge to 3rd party the loan, IE, hold the collateral, collect the bonds, etc.

Collateral provided in highsec in or near jita 4/4.

Bond value would be ~20bil

No, I will not deal with up-and-comers/anyone without significant broker cred.

Anyone know what their rates are like for this?

Thankyou

Throw me a mail when your bond is live and I'll probably contribute to it.

Blueprint seller, I'm still playing with the idea in my mind, trying to figure out what rates would be, etc. Number crunching. Loan wouldnt happen till april, if I decided to go for it, so in the meantime, trying to do all the math. Unlike many market traders who are constantly dealing in a regular basis of trades/investments, I prefer to do larger buys on low risk high predicted return commodities. The main downside is that the rate of return on investment tends to be rather slow. Though, for example, when they changed the LP cost on +5 implants, I bought 250 at 81mil each, they are now 95~mil each. That sort of stuff. So yea, looking for what sort of rates people charge, on collateralized loans, to broker it, etc.

I see.

Well I would be willing to extend you a loan in the 20b region for up to 6 months at 2% per month when the time comes. Assuming the collateral is agreeable. Just drop me a mail when you are ready. This would not be brokering as I would be directly investing my own funds.

If you really feel you need to have a 3rd party hold the collateral instead of dealing direct with me then that's fine, but I'd require 2.5% per month, you pay all fees and I would stipulate that the 3rd party must be Grendel or Chribba.

If you are not happy with my terms then I would direct you towards Grendel and BMBE as good alternatives with an excellent reputation (BMBE's advertised rates are 3% on 20b).

If you want a higher rate of return, for a investment without collateral I'm offering 5% per month for 3 months, with interest payments sent out monthly. I don't want to commit to 6 months right now, but that is a possibility.

If you want to reserve 20b, just let me know. It will start mid-January.

Thanks for the offer.

I'm sorry to say that when I do accept loans without collateral they are always small and offering a higher return.

Hello Arronicus,

I'm not actually sure what Chribba charges but personally I generally charge 1%. There is some variance in that rate depending on the individual contract. But that should give you a general idea. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to contact me.Smile
