Here's something for a bit of fun. What do you name your ships?

Here's a few of mine.

Incursus - "Doomicorn"

Venture - "The Yellow Submarine"

Tristan - "Isolder"

Navitas - "Catch of the Day"

Rifter - "Rustmobile"

My current megathron is called Diplomatic Incident.

It was named that for the massive shoot blues event we did for Vile Rat and it hasn't died yet dispite the efforts of the CFC FCs.

Yeah :P, all i ever need to do is to look at the second/third part of the name to remember what its fit with.

I always name mine "CONCORD (random **** here)" just to confuse people.

I had an Apoc called "Banana ***"

My rapier is called er.... I don't think I can use that word here because of the filter but you can just leave all the letters in "rapier" where they are and take out the "i" and the last "r", because that's either what it does or what happens to it. Why does eveyrone always primary the rapier? lol

My falcon is called "Blackbird", as is my scorpion.

My Sin is called "Original".

My Phoenix (yes, I have a phoenix, unfortunately) is called Byblos, which most people won't get because it's the ancient capital of Phoenicia...

My Navy Omen is called Derp. My Zealots are called "Herp".

And my sabre is called "Sword of Allah". My other ships are just renamed to the ship type.

Generally what it looks like and then the Roman numeral of how many I've lost, so my Merlins are called Caltrop or Spike with a number, my retriever is Plank, and my Omen is Eagle Beak as a few examples.

About two weeks after starting the game back in 2008 I was living in Low Sec. A pirate caught me ratting and killed my Cormorant. I came back in a Kestrel which he killed as well. He asked if I was going to come out again. I told him that I did not have any more ships. I told him it was ok though because I could mine enough in an Ibis to build a Bantam, and then mine enough in that to build another Kestrel. But that in the mean time I would be willing to duel him in equally fit Ibis’ if he wanted.

He gave me an Osprey. I could not even fly a cruiser yet, and I certainly could not afford to buy one. That was a big deal to me at the time.

I named it “The Gift” and it still holds a great deal of sentimental value to me.

I tend to name mine after Angels and demons from the bible, although i'm among the least religious on the planet, i just find it cool to have a navpoc named "belial" i guess.
