anyone know the mechanics of reactivating an account with plex? Its not like he can log in to get the plex given that he's deactivated atm

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit.

They removed the hours for plex thing from the account management but I think you can petition as long as you never used it before.

what I wanna do is plex my alt, I assume you can reactivate a lapsed account with plex yes? I havent sent him anything yet, Im trying to figure out how to do it before I try lol

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit.

Go to account management, use the hours for PLEX service and then apply the PLEX to the account.

Not unless you can log in with that account to use the plex.

Um...I used it yesterday.


edit: On an account that was off for 6 months.

2nd edit: That account cannot see the option now. I guess the option disappears once the account is activated. (derrrrrr, on myself)

this is the correct way to do it, if though for what ever reason you do not use a PLEX with in 4hours of re activation, your account will go back in to suspended, like it was before, and you will never be able to use that option again, however you can still activate it by any other means, but my suggestion is this

ALWAYS have one plex in the redeeming system for each of your accounts, that way no matter what you will always beable to do so and you wont even need to login to eveonline client :)

that's what I did a couple a weeks ago to start playing again.

To further clarify: if you use the Hours For PLEX feature and do not activate the account during the 4 hour window, the Hour For PLEX can still be reset by a GM. GM intervention is required to prevent players from abusing the Hours For PLEX feature. If you have a problem applying the PLEX using the Hours For PLEX feature, it is not the end of that feature.

Correct: the Hours For PLEX option is only visable on inactive accounts.

ya I believe if you go thru it like you want to re activate the account there should be an option to activate hours for plex, perhaps on the drop down menus if I remember correctly

^This, with the caveat that if you use it without subscribing the account, the option disappears.
