How to make a contact only corporation management can accept?

Hey there,

I was just wondering if there was a way to make a contract that only corporation management can accept?

If so, how is this done?

You can...

the only people that can accept a corp contract is someone with the corp contract role. Just assign the contract to the corp.

Set the contract to corporation.

If you do it private - fill in the corp name. Then anyone in the corp can accept it I believe..

Could be the other way around too...not in game to verify atm

Now only people with the corporation contract role can accept the contract and the items will go into the corporation deliveries tab..

I have some questions about this actually.
Ever since the patch we have found that everyone can accept corp contracts, now after having read J'Polls advice the CEO and my self have been testing things out.

First step,remove ALL my roles.
Second step,check that all roles really did get removed.
Third set up a contract clicking the "my corporation" option.
Forth set up a contract manually typing in the corp name.

In both cases i could still accept the contract. Both contracts were set up requiering payment (small amounts but still) which was in both cases drawn from my own personal wallet.
I also could not see these contracts under "my contracts" with settings set to look for contracts to/by the corp,i had to go to the start page to find them.

So..im not sure if im just missing something of if there is a bug. If anyone has any idea what is going on it would be appriciated Big smile

Nightcrawler I'm glad you said that! I was in a similar position, I just finished testing and I came to the same conclusion.

I'm pretty sure that if you make a contract available to a corporation than any Corp member can accept it. I think it has always been that way, as I have been using this to give ships out to my Corp members for some time now. If you want to contract something to management make a private contract.

Will test it myself this evening, for both cases.

If both can be accepted by any member going to file a bug report about it as it will mean that it's currently broken (why would you still have the contract manager role if it doesn't do anything different then anybody in the corp can already do).

I think people are confused with accepting a contract on behalf of a corp:
