Hmmm...

It seems I am only receiving 3 (THREE) snowballs for the festival launcher and not 300 in the redeeming system? Straight

Each "snowball" as far as the redeeming system is concerned is a stack of 100. Just the way the system works. :)

Ah, That makes sense, thanks for the clarification... Time for a snowball fight with my buddies! Lol

This may be the only negative post in the thread, but I'm not happy with these festival launchers. A lot of us spend time collecting rare items, and some of us had stockpiles of snowball launchers which were worth large amounts of ISK. Now suddenly they're worthless, billions lost. I know reimbursement is impossible, but could you take more care in future to not destroy collections like this? The festival launcher could have been introduced as a new item, as they've been out of circulation for several years, and nobody would have LOST money at Christmas time. I am happy you kept the snowballs separate though, very happy. Will festival launchers be a unique item now, or are we at risk of having them appear next year?

Yes Smile

Is there anything wearable for male avatars?

This is something we are very much aware of and thought did go into renaming and using the snowball launchers. In previous years when we released new snowballs we used the same snowball launcher and we wanted to continue doing that. We also however suddenly had a need to fire fireworks as well. If we had not been introducing fireworks we would have just given out more snowball launchers just as before.

Since we decided to introduce fireworks we felt that using the same launcher as before was more in-line with what we had done previously.

It is important to note that unless we specifically specify nothing is guaranteed to be exclusive. We may end up handing out these same gifts again at a later date. There are no plans to as it stands, but we may.

Thanks for the quick answer. So, you may at some point in the future give out more T2 BPOs? Or more tournament ships? You can see why we would want some confirmation of the uniqueness of these items, or it becomes very risky to collect them.

Personally I will be collecting this year's snowballs, launchers and fireworks. Especially now they won't melt :)

D'oh! CCP converted my working Snowball MMVIII's to CXIVs. So much for being one of the few people in the game with un-melted 2008s.Sad

But kudos to the art team on the new effect. And I'm especially looking forward to what they've done with fireworks.Smile

You, no. I tried to make them for both guys and girls but couldn't make it happen. They will however be able to be worn by female capsuleers.

Frak that noise! Fozzie said I could, and by Jove I will! X
I demand unisex clothing damnit!

Oh well, I'll just throw it into the same closet as my spare female Quafeâ„¢ shirt (it never sold in Amarr for some reason P).

And thus the trend of ending all EVE videos with a ship coasting through the wrecks launching fireworks began.

While having snowballs back is utterly awesome, I would thought considering Soundwave loves player made explosions he'd have made sure the new snowballs acted like the old ones, complete with people getting over eager and getting Concordokkened P

Either way, awesome stuff CCP! Now I just need to find a dev or two to pelt with snowballs.

You are under the misapprehension that they did *NOT* intend to wipe out fortunes. You have not been up on the intent of CCP's recent changes.
