you are an ******* dude, im asking for help here, you seriously jealous of me having more isk to wipe my ass with than you do, but I have been around at least long enough to know that's horse ****, im just wanting a bad ass ship. that is all

im not trying to go Rambo on people, but its nice to cruise and explore without worry,

Ok, Cid, that's better, good that we got that out of the way. Oh yes, of course I'm spacepoor and jelly of your bought ISK, that would be the only reason to take the **** on you.

Anyway my point, like explained by Nihi in a less trolling tone, is that there is no such ship. It's not about the ship. It's not about the character.

It's about you.

Consider the ships as any RL gear. You have basic, entry level tools that do their job in the hands of a beginner. A true craftsman gets great results with the same entry level tool. Then you have the professional tools. Little more quirky to use, a beginner might actually do better with more forgiving, cheaper equipment, but the craftsman uses this specialized tool to make masterpieces.

Buying the highest end gear does not a master make, practice does.

a side note to any douche bag NOT name luz approx. how many skill points do you lose? where can I find that info I looked online but did not find much,

You lose one level from your highest subsystem skill, randomly selected if they are all the same level.

Proteus is a fantastic ship in the right hands like any T3, but not better than a Thorax for the inexperienced- you just lose more. And losing is not really about the ISK, it your hurts your public CV, the killboard. And skill training plan, of course.

I've never had to worry about ISK after my nub days, and I could buy any ship available in game now. Instead I fly ships that I like, that are cheap to replace (this includes pimped up T3s) because if you really do solo PVP, take risks and take good fights, you will lose ships. It's inevitable and part of the game.

It was just changed like other cruisers, so new standard is yet to emerge.

First the old shield gank version, but vastly improved:

[Thorax, Ganknam style]

The above link, links to my alt,

using him, and if isk was no object what would be the absolute epitome of a ship/set up to just randomly cruise around, hi or low sec, perhaps null, and oh hey I see one, or a few people that I decide I want to kill, I doubt that you can use one ship to kill more than perhaps 2-3 others, but if there's a setup that can take on 5 pvp's then let me know

im sure that I would need to train a few skills, but for the most part what would you choose? I don't want to train for another 6 months, but a few days is doable, I want to take him, me and a third dedicate orca pilot into deep null, perhaps a WH, and start taking advantage of more lucrative things.

thanks

Fit and Proteus and tell me where and when you're going to go PvPing - I'll tell you a great spot.

Just a reminder looking at your EVE Board that the Battlecruiser and Destroyer skill Changes are coming soon that seperate them into 4 racial skills.

To get Battlecruiser V and Destroyer V for all races you have to have, I believe Racial Frigate 3 - Destroyers / Racial Cruiser 3 Battlecruisers to get that races skill.

If you don't have that and you ever decide to cross train you will have to train those rank 2 and 6 skills again from scratch vs a weeks training now.

Forum Rules wrote:

4. Be respectful of others at all times.

The purpose of the forum is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas. Occasionally, there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Be courteous when disagreeing with others. It is possible to disagree without being insulting.

5. Ranting is prohibited.

A rant is a long-winded, redundant post, often filled with angry, non-constructive comments. A free exchange of ideas is essential to building a strong sense of community and helpful in the development of the game, but rants are disruptive and incite flaming and trolling. Please post your thoughts in a concise, clear manner and avoid going off on rambling tangents.

6. Personal attacks are prohibited.

Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts that are designed to personally berate or insult another. Text of this nature is not beneficial to the community spirit and will not be tolerated. Corporation, faction and alliance members and other players are cautioned to avoid allowing “in character” disputes from becoming "out of character" personal attacks. The game is designed for role-playing and/or portraying a role and it is sometimes easy for tempers to flare when the lines between the virtual world and the real world are crossed. Please keep in-game disputes in the game and off the forum unless it is clearly a mutual, in-character exchange.

7. Trolling is prohibited.

Trolling is the word used to describe a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting the players. Posts of this nature are disruptive and do not contribute to the sense of community we want for our forums.

19. Avoid using profanity.

Using partial masking (such as asterisks or punctuation marks) to bypass the profanity filter is prohibited and will result in the same action as if the actual word had been typed.
