ISK NO OBJECT... BEST SHIP EVER???

The above link, links to my alt,

using him, and if isk was no object what would be the absolute epitome of a ship/set up to just randomly cruise around, hi or low sec, perhaps null, and oh hey I see one, or a few people that I decide I want to kill, I doubt that you can use one ship to kill more than perhaps 2-3 others, but if there's a setup that can take on 5 pvp's then let me know

im sure that I would need to train a few skills, but for the most part what would you choose? I don't want to train for another 6 months, but a few days is doable, I want to take him, me and a third dedicate orca pilot into deep null, perhaps a WH, and start taking advantage of more lucrative things.

Being locked into one race isn't doing you many favors, Gallente are decent soloist, but really shine in small gang warfare.
That said, if you're looking for a pimpmobile, the Proteus is probably your best bet. You can get stupid amounts of EHP from it with a little pimping, as well as nearly battleship DPS. Alternatively, fit the Covert subsystem and cruise around with about 500 dps, decloak on someone's face and really ruin their day.

If ISK were no object and I had your skills, I'd probably roll around in a Vigilant.

what you mean locked into?

I know cid heres galente, mostly industry wise tho, but enough that he may be able to after a few short skills be able to "help" riker, but that's not my plan, my main plan is to keep all three my toons in a WH, and perhaps a BS alt in jita to do trading etc,

but have one toon mining etc (me) have one boosting, (my orca perhaps roqual) and then one defensive, probably in a thantos, or similar, maybe nyx if I win the isk lottos around here haha, ( he can fly it) in about a month he will be ready for that titan skill book lol, but only if I actually start making several + bil a week lol)

Get an officer-fit Nyx, that can take 2-3 pvps easily in wormholes

how can the proteus be ANY good, for tech three those are ****** ass specs lol, and it the fitting tab it says a few rig slots but that's it, so wtf is it supposed to do lol, 10 m/s to slow to do anything lmao

woah woah woah, so I buy a proteus, grab some nice subsystems (didn't know u had to do that before assembling it lol

but as I was about to make active:


If your modular ship is destroyed then you could lose skill points in one of the skills required by each of the ships subsystems. Are you sure you want to continue?

Well if you invest 5bil in the fittings you won't lose it, so no need to worry about SP, right? Anyway, go for the Nyx if you don't like the chance of losing SP.

Good rule of thumb- for every additional billion you put into your setup, you can take on 1 additional pvp

Have you considered a Slave implant set? With the HG Slave set and 5bil setup you can take on as many as 10 pvps

a side note to any douche bag NOT name luz approx. how many skill points do you lose? where can I find that info I looked online but did not find much,

also I already bought at subsystem rigged a proteus, but obviously I can still sell it, so depending on how many, and don't plan on just rigging the ship then running off to null sec, into a group of 10 veterans.



and I prefer not to be Locked into low sec and not being able to dock, lol.

like I said, it would be casual,


besides 30 bil may be a bit much I know I said isk no object, but lets not waste it lol


I know cus I had a Thanatos once, had about 5 bil into it, and got that blown up by 5 ish gankers. freaking bitches lol, but that was way long ago lol

I must have edited it out of my OP

my original toon was someone else about a year ago, but stopped playing after about 3 months (bearly 1mil sp), started scratch with him, liked the game, played with a navy friend of mine, so I bought a bunch of plex on here, then bought a toon as well, two to be exact,

and even so I don't dabble in that side that much and no, look at the kill boards why the f would I lie about getting killed in a thanny lmao

also that was my ALT riker who was in it, lol

You do have a lot of ISK and your Char does have a lot of SPs.
What about your softskills?
Do you know, how to kite? Do you know, how to brawl? Do you know, how to get an Interceptor into scram-orbit around a BS while it's shooting you? Do you know, how to travel through 0.0?

Your SPs won't help you. either will your ISK.

You are a Noob (In fact, we all are in more or less aspects of this game)

Don't buy a ship for 5 bil ISK and go out to pvp without any knowledge how it works.
You will die horrible in your first engagement with anyone, who knows what he's doing. And we all will laugh about your Killmail.

I already bought the proteus so il lkeep it, but ill prob get somn else to learn around in, and while I am noob to some extent, I have been around the game for a little while, if you know what I mean,

im not planning on going looking for a fight, but as I said I would prefer to live in wh, but need to protect my self, and when traveling exploring, for sake of bordem want to have the option to do so as well as the means to defend. I know how to travel low sec, especially the cloaking trick about aligning then cloaking then MWD til MWD ends then uncloaking and warping, all in a nice timed cerography lmao,

and BASIC about pvp, but not actually doing it enough, I only have a handful of kills, mostly to nubs like me, and the only reason I won was, well isk lol


ps. I did fit the cover reconfig on the proteus u know for the covert cloak
